Today we have a Brooklyn Bombshell! Check out a few of Tajma’s looks:

She writes, ” I hope to be featured on your wonderful fashion site.”

” My style changes all of the time…”

“”… but as of right now I am into vibrant colors and prints.”

” I love to wear clothing that complements my shape without being too revealing.”

” Dressing up for me and taking pictures is fun….”

“…because I now have the confidence to do so.”

Cute! I see you have a thing for Boxing Kitten, Patricia Field, and Guess. I appreciate your plays on patterns and fun use of colors.
What do you think of Tajma’s looks?

  1. Meh…Cute looks, would have loved to see what she does for a fall look. Nothing too inspiring, but in some of her looks I wish she had worn better undergarments to prop her assets more. I believe true fashion starts with the foundation (underwear). jmo…

  2. I’m absolutely convinced plus size women get a pass on this site because the submission yesterday pretty yes, fashion bomb…hell no!! But since she was “curvy” and showed confidence everyone went nuts over her not taking into account her fashion choices were not flattering, variety was absent and I’m sorry sheer shirts, spandex (unforgiving choices by the way) wavy weave and duck lips does not equate a fashion bomb.

  3. Can’t see the voting thingy. Upgrading her to Bombshell for the loc length  but also because she’s into what I like to call “modest fashion.” Some may saw “mature fashion.” Nice use of Afro-centric prints and while the palettes for her other outfits were limited, it worked for her. No need to go wild ‘n out all the time.

  4. @ JJ, I’m with you. The girl yesterday was a HOT IN NEED OF A SPANX MESS. Something in the milk ain’t clean, I tell ya. Tajma gets a bombshell vote from me. Love the prints!

  5. @JJ… yeah my thoughts exactly. 99% of all plus size posts get ‘bombshell’ just because they’re plus sized.

  6. BOMBSHELL?????….WITH A JUICY CHAIN FROM 2001(FAR FROM TIMELESS …FAR FROM VINTAGE) #ICANT….CUTE PRINTS THOUGH…BUT FAR FROM BOMBSHELL!

  7. I adore her use of ethnic prints, where the outfits fall flat for me is the accessories. Such vibrant prints, missed opportunity to pull it all together with accessories. Also, a little “rouge” never hurt anyone, I think it would have just accentuated her natural beauty.

  8. If everything you have on can be pointed out as having been on the first page of a catalog, blog, or retail website, a fashion bombshell you are not.

  9. I cant get past her pose. I think if she had better posture she would look more confident and her girls might present better, but she def needs more support in some tops.

  10. love the fact that you love kente and aztec prints
I think the first dress is cute
i love the skirt the most- i probably woulda found a different boob tube to wear (not for me personally)
but the one your wearing is cheeky cheeky with the hands wrapped round the boobs, its cute however and you make it work
i also love yhe shorts that your wearing in the third photo
im a big lover of prints :) great and refreshing for summer

  11. cute outfits, but nothing inspiring. i keep saying that the proper foundation under clothing makes all the difference.

  12. I do love the prints but I def think its important to have supportive undergarments….lift those puppies up!

  13. Love! She is so pretty and the colors work very well for her. Keep doing what you do. Also your hair is nicely styled.

  14. I like the fact that she’s not afraid to play with colors and patterns without looking ridiculous.

  15. I enjoyed the prints and outfits. @JJ, I completely agree. Yesterday’s girl was sad. Also, at @e, that’s ignorant of you to say her jewelry is from 2001. Who the f*** cares? She didn’t say it was new or vintage. Bourgeois broads are the worst.

  16. I completely agree with JJ!!! That women got so much praise yesterday it was STUPID. Her clothes were too tight, nothing inspiring or fashionable whatsover, but people are saying this young lady is boring??? Confuse me….she looks nice and well put together. Maybe simple works best for her. Let me also add that whoever is complaining about her pose I hope you said something about them horrid pics taken yesterday that were blurred and had the ladies eyes grayed over from piss poor lighting.

  17. @monique would you rather have her doing duck faces, poses wit her butt out?….I thought this was a fashion view not a posing blog….js

  18. @jj is this girl even plus size!?!?! Sheesh you ladies sound like some bitter broads. Though I agree with you … plus size girls do get a pass. But who the hell cares.

  19. @JJ you are correct yesterdays girl was not fashion bomb worthy at all. Anyhow I like Tajma style. It’s effortless.

  20. The bombshell from two days ago didn’t deserve to be on this list. She might lack the confidence of the big girl but ay, she tried. I like these looks and we don’t all have to have statement necklaces, colourful (clearly, i’m not american) blazers and loads of make up to be a bombshell. There are degrees of bombshell…

  21. I love the ideas… but this again is an example of a woman that does not understand her shape/body and what looks good on her specifically. Therefore the great ideas don’t come to their full right. No offence honey, you have a nice body, but you should refrain from wearing outfits that expose your legs (solution: tan+shave+scrub+gym or genes). And beware of where you put focus on the waist.

  22. Her style is cute but nothing I’d try to imitate. I wish she would play with shoe color more. either she matches her top to the shoe or just goes with black or nude. That is such a 40 and over thing to do. LOL
