We offer you a bit of celebrity respite with today’s Bombshell, Sharlene from LA:

The jewelry designer for Zoe Love Designs says, “My look is constantly changing but I can honestly say my style is strongly influenced by sub and ethnic cultures.

“… It’s not a coincidence if you find some sort of tribal pattern or ankara designs in my outfit.”

” Whether I am in the mood for a 60’s look, 80’s or 1940’s styled outfit there is always an ethnic accessory or two thrown in the mix to give my outfit a tribal edge.”

“This tribal edge is what I thrive to incorporate into my jewelry line.”

Ok! Will definitely have to check out your line at www.zoelove.bigcartel.com.

  1. I love her sense of style. I can tell she is about her own style and owns it…..I have a friend who is similar to her and the way they are so creative with their style and let few influence them…….two thumbs up!!!!!!!

  2. I love her hair. I appreciate her confidence. She looks like she’s having fun. :)

  3. Even though I wouldn’t necessarily dress like that, I think she has great style. Very unique. And to me, that’s what the Fashion Bombshell of the day feature is for: to showcase unique style. I prefer this to many of the recycled F21 looks that sometimes get featured.
With that said, I think she could use some tailoring and could cut back on some things to look more put together. Ethnic doesn’t mean uncoordinated.

  4. Great hair. She should remember that less is always more because she’s over-accessorizing in every photo.

  5. love the nose ring…I have a fake one and you, my dear, have just inspired me to slip it on this weekend. Wonder what hubby will say…checking out the site now…

  6. Very nice! I think this style suits her. I really love the bob marley tank and the colorful accessories, especially the earrings. Not really my style but I think she pulls it off.

  7. cool, funky, fresh style that I can appreciate, loving the all things colorful concept!

  8. I try not to be mean when I’m critiquing the bombs but seriously… what’s up with these folks just throwing on a bunch of stuff, with no real rhyme or reason, in the hopes of looking “eclectic”? i’m so over it. seriously.

  9. Hmmm, only like the first look. The rest looks like she is trying too hard to look different. Smh.

  10. the word TRIBAL appeared in her description three times. We get it, you’re ethnic, eccentric, etc. Cute girl but I would suggest taking off some accessories before leaving the house. It begins to look messy or sloppy with so many bracelets, big earrings and dramatic necklaces.

  11. I feel like she over did it just a tad bit. The last picture seemed to be pushing it but I did love the blue and yellow earrings as well as the yellow africa shaped ones.

  12. I love her colors! My favorite look is the one with the Marley Tee…yes there is alot going on with her outfits but I love it and it looks good on her!

  13. She’s pretty and I love her hair. I actually do like her style. I really love the first 3 pics, but I do think she’s over accessorizing. I think she would lose the trying-too-hard look and look more put together if she lost a few accessories. She is working that nose ring! From the last pic, that all lace black tee is hawt!

  14. Love her hair…but push back on the accessories….funky though, she seems confident in it which is what matters.

  15. I love it. She’s dressing to please herself and no one else. Isn’t that what fashion is all about?

  16. it’s not my personal aesthetic but it works for her. i love the bold lips and the hair. cute.

  17. Love outfit #2
#3 and #4 are faded looking-not cute. Keep the tribal, hair, accessories. When clothes start to lose color and/or shape, let them go!
