Hey Guys!

Today’s Bombshell is blogger Sakina from Paris:

She was submitted by longtime reader Nicole from Toronto, who said, “She is an inspiration to any girl (bigger or smaller) that no matter what your imperfections are now be happy with yourself and dress appropriately.”

“A lot of girls on the site always complain that bigger girls don’t know how to dress for their size and I think Sakina kicks a** out of that statement…
Well, alright! See more of Sakina’s looks at www.saksinthecity.blogspot.com, and also check her out on Vogue Italia’s Vogue Curvy site.

  1. Great choice for Bombshell of the Day! Her style is a nice mix of feminine, flirty and just generally well put together.

  2. Very well put together! She understands shape, texture and fit which all delivers great and impressive results! To end it all she looks like she has great confidence! luv it! keep doing your thing girlie!

  3. Very cute girl with great style. You can see her confidence in her pics. Checking out her blog now….*Sidenote: She kinda looks like a plus size Kim Kardashian.

  4. Nice, stylish looks; a bit more accesor’zd than the French usually are, I’d say. (Is she even French? I’m assuming…)

    Anywho, she looks great!

  5. She looks fantastic! But I raised my eyebrows at this ““A lot of girls on the site always complain that bigger girls don’t know how to dress for their size.” As a long time reader I have to disagree with this comment. I’ve seen big girls get great compliments on here. (Girl with the colorful blazer for one.) The comment in the post makes it seems like all big girls are jumped on for supposedly not dressing in a way that complement their bodies when the girl are judges as INDIVIDUALS. I’ve seen all types of girls with no knowledge at all how to dress to complement their (short, tall, broad shoulders, small shoulders, flat/small/huge/perfect/Kim K butt.) bodies.

    -.-

  6. I don’t like her style. It is very clean cut and all, but I like it a little bit more bold. Even if you are a bit bigger. Also that skirt with the shapes ’round her hips and those pants? Yeah, not a big hit.
My mom is bigger than she is and if she would let me dress her from top to bottom I would never let my mom wear those pants.
Heck, not even skinny people should wear those pants… They give the illusion of ‘something’ behind that zipper. Not a good look for a lady methinks….

  7. very cute style. i think she looks understated and chic, and everything has body skimming fit where it’s not too loose or tight and it fits her properly.

  8. I didn’t even know there were big girls in Paris, is she a native Parisian? At any rate, she is quite stylish. Loves her bags.

  9. She looks great and knows what looks good on her for her body type. Oui Oui mademoiselle ;-)

  10. I love that off the shoulder outfit/shot of hers. I dream of looking so effortlessly chic and fabulous. Love her photos and outfits!

  11. Love the off the shoulder ‘mariniere’ w/the gold necklace. The casual jean and blue shirt look really show off a fabulous shape and the colors are wonderful against your tone. The braided necklace is definitely a hit! The lighting, background, poses and variety of the pics are great (THANK YOU)! The versatility of the leather jacket is used very well and the fitted blazer and fitted pant look is awesome on you. All the bags accessorize perfectly w/the outfits.

The nude lips are hot, the red are scary. The hair seems a little schizo – manicured cut with too-short bangs that don’t pull off the bed-head or any other bolder styles. Wish I saw the other necklace better, it seems very pretty. The tie-detail on the pale halter is distracting and does nothing for the top or the outfit. The satin wrap skirt hides your hips and waist and the shoes are okay. Love that grey crepe-y looking top.

Merci pour les photos, (le blog) est chouette!
