“I was born and raised in a gorgeous little African country called Botswana, but I now call Melbourne – Australia my (other) home. However, I am currently based in the UK for some time, while travelling around Europe.”
“I feel like my personal style is forever evolving and can be quite unpredictable, ranging from tomboy chic to walking rainbow LOL. At the moment I’d say I gravitate more towards comfortable, fuss free silhouettes, never departing from my Afrocentric roots (in reference to my love for turbans, big accessories and just explosions of colour everywhere), with my favourite accessory being the one the good Lord gave to me, i.e. my hair which never lacks volume or personality.”
“As a new mum, I have to put a bit more thought into my outfits as my days can quickly spiral from calm to tsunami in a matter of minutes. Therefore, I invest in a lot of kimonos, kaftans and asymmetrical shapes, paired with simple basics like leggings and singlets. I am also into cute flats and cool sneakers, because carrying a child around in heels is the stuff of fairy-tales. ”
“I love and get inspiration from people who have solidly embraced who they are style-wise, you know the ones who just ooze confidence and get away with most things mere mortals shouldn’t. I try not to be swayed by ever-changing fashion trends, but instead use them as guidelines, and give them my own crazy twist so they fit into my lifestyle perfectly.”
