  1. Love her style. Not too flashy, not plain but classy with a bit of a pop. I have to adit that I’m a bit biased to curvy girls, I just feel like they make the clothes ;o)

  2. I like her she knows how to dress her shape (with about two exceptions). I felt as though the shorts with the salmon colored top were a bit too tight, there’s some bunching and fabric pull. Other than that she was a good way to end the week. Simple, stylish and chic. Fashion bombshell!!!

  3. Oh who ever keeps commenting that people always give love to the curvy/ thick/big bonededed girls are right. I guess she gets a pass cuz she um,thick…cuz how many times do we see her in those blue shorts?

The toned-shaply, nice body girls…most always gets labeled CHEAP,lacks fashion.

  4. I love her style! Elegant & understated—it’s pretty hard to get right. That maxi is so pretty & those turquoise heels have me heading straight to her blog.

  5. That could be because more than a few of the thin bombshell submissions love to shop at Forever 21 and the clothes are cheap AND LOOK CHEAP.

Lola rocks her blue shorts & they look fab and she definitely has what it takes to be labeled bombshell.

I voted accordingly. She looks amazing. Very city chic!

  6. Love! Good description of style too. (Sigh… I wish the Kim K. she’s channeling would go BACK to dressing like this).

  7. Bombshell! Enjoyed her entire submission. The houndstooth printed pencil skirt is from H&M. I purchased it last year for $24 dollars and I love it. Just goes to show inexpensive doesn’t have to translate cheap.

  8. Yea its some sort of curvy girl alliance going on up in here.
Y’all inspired by how many times she can work them blue shorts? I do like her in the maxi dress, thats about it. And I guess for some channeling Kim K is a good thing.

  9. She looks great. and looked at her blog. her clothes are very inexpensive. just proof that it isnt wear you shop, its how you put it together!!!!!

  10. She’s a darling for sure…. I need those aqua pumps , those black studded sandals & that maxi dress… REALLY CUTE !

  11. Love it…a thickier figured girl going with what’s flattering to her shape rather than what’s trending. Claire darling…..what’s the deets on the Maxi dress. Fab!

  12. smh….some of you just wake up feeling hateful…just because you’re think doesn’t mean you understand fashion or dress to compliment your body…and just because you’re plus size, you shouldn’t have to hide in a potato sack…she looks great, and she understands how to dress for her body…those blue shorts are very flattering as the bow belt highlights her smaller waist and the shorts show off toned thigh

I think I liked them all but my fav is definitely the ruched mini and the studded heels…hot!!

  13. Lola you are soo sexy but classy. Love your looks, do tell us where you scored that maxi if you can recall….

  14. She lists where she bought everything on her blog. The same energy you use to type a comment could be used to click on her blog and find out for yourself.

  15. @Child Please You are so petty. People like you should be blocked. judging from the comments more than one personis curious about the dress. Some people have real jobs and may not be able to browse blogs. Get some business and cool your heels. You seem real mad for a simple question. You look good Lola boo!

  16. I think she looks great. But I must agree with other folks that there seems to be some shade thrown at skinny/in-shape women who dress exactly the same….hmmmm…

  17. Hell YEAH! Finally, a bombshell I can finally get inspiration from. This girl has body for days:)

  18. Okay, for those of you who haven’t checked out her blog, the reason why she is wearing the blue shorts with different outfits is because she did a 30day challenge where she had to wear the same clothes but different outfits (not that it matters). I think that the fact that she can take those same shorts and incorporate them into different outfits, in a new and still stylish way makes her extremely versitile. Furthermore, yes, she does have hips and legs but after reading her blog she is only between a size 6 and a 10 (she’s lost weight recently). That is not plus size and is what’s wrong with some people in society now, with their warped views of what is considered thick, plus sized, average etc…Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but there’s absolutely no need to be rude and cruel. Let this girl live! I think she’s pretty dope and I don’t think it’s the last time we’ll all see her.

  19. She is obviously getting love from the fellow thick girls. She definitely looks nice in each picture but I am not seeing stylish. While the outfits with the blue shorts speak to me the most, those shorts are looking uncomfortably tight- I don’t understand the “she dresses her body well” comments.

Pretty woman, girl next door style.

I was getting spoiled by the fly Friday bombshells. Be back next week…

  20. LMAO @Child Please How ironic that you mention wasted energy. I was thinking the same of your comment, bird.

  21. She has a beautiful body, in fact, I wish I was thicker, so of course I adore this woman, not because I don’t like thinner girls or whatever, I know women come in very different shapes and sizes, and I give love to everyone. On her style; I think this is a great bombshell because of the great, chic looking outfits, the good make-up and the quality of the pictures! I know not everyone has the chance to get a good camera, but bombshells with good quality photo’s always step up their game for me. Great bombshell!

  22. Wow. After visiting her blog and reading a lot of the comments, I really see that this chick is killin it. I am not curvy (pretty boyish figure) so I didnt immediately catch how hard it is to put all those great fits together. She is beautiful AND she is from Richmond..which I love even though I’m from Cali. Big love to you Lola!

  23. I voted bombshell but something I think is interesting is her style is the same as other previous skinnier bombshells and voters said their style was boring. Just because she’s bigger she gets a pass?-that’s bullshit. Regardless I liked her attire and this style suits her.

  24. Smh…this is why I have no female friends, way too quick to fight for random reasons.
By the way, cute girl next door style.

  25. She is killing it in extremely affordable outfits. Style for days! Nothing she wears looks cheap, and it’s figure flattering to boot. Anyone that looks like that in $12 shoes is a bombshell in my book.

    Bitch better WERK!

  26. The reason why people think she is a bombshell and others who wore the similar outfits are not, is execution. She pulls off outfits in a way that flatters her body. Her clothes look classy and not cheap unlike too many we saw this week. That is what separates a bombshell from someone that is not. I hope this helps. I am a skinny girl with no affinity towards curvy or non-curvy; this chick simply knows how to put clothes together without looking costumey, too trendy or like she is trying too hard. This chick is definitely a bombshell, great job Claire.

  27. reading some of these comments…I think it was a write in-make positive comments on my “friends” Fashion bombshell page.
Im not saying Lola is bad….she’s cute, her style is cute and SIMPLE…but bombshell…inspiring…different No and then comparing herself to Kim K..I think she is more Khloe. I think her focus was the blue shorts…she should a mixed them up…maybe with a blazer, she wore the same type of shirt with the shorts. how inspiring is that…and mostly everthing else is black and white…was that really creative?

You have nice friends Lola, they all made nice comments.lol

  28. now i voted bombshell. after many faux pas this week, finally someone who has style. for a thicker, curvier girl her clothes fit wonderfully. she has a fun & cute style.

  29. @2cents

I see no Rita Ora in any of these pics. We must not be looking at the same set! lol

She’s fly. Love the way her clothes fit her, not so hot on those blue shorts but I like them as a separate article of clothing. And her hair is dope too.

  30. If y’all had read the blog those shorts were part of a series she did called 30 in 30. She looks great not for a think girl, for any!!! She’s also not originally from VA, move there not long ago.

  31. Her style is simple, most pieces here are just in black & white, she shouldn’t compare herself with Kim, no way girl.

  32. @Stephanie, just admit that ur gorgeous friend Lola is favorably gifted, stop pointing out how she should have wore it better, am sure u cant do better than her. gosh!

  33. WEERRRKKK! LOL
I definitely love that she’s not afraid of color and that she embraces clean lines (without having to over-compensate with accessories, like some other bombshells… no shade..lol). Great style…didn’t miss a mark! Now following on the blog! Thanks for sharing, Lola!

  34. Lawd, the comment section can be so salty sometimes. Gosh. I don’t see what’s wrong with just saying, a simple, “Yes I like/love” or “No, not for me” smh

    I like it!!

  35. Yes, her style is simple. Not everyone wants to do crazy combinations. But I can tell that she knows what works on her body – and owns it. For that reason, I think she is a bombshell.

  36. Most of her outfits were nice, but some of them were BLAH inclusing her hair. I love her figure and she is a nice dresser.

  37. I think she mostly looks great, but I am not feelin those shorts. To me, it looks like a huge camel toe. If I were her, I’d try to find a different cut of shorts.

  38. She looks great, great figure and dresses it well.

I really like the blue shorts and the multi-coloured maxi. The blazer in jeans, simple but gives the right message.

I’m not one for flash, extreme 90s (lived it, thanks), what’s in this season. I like classic, sexy yet sophisticated….simplicity at it’s finest. I enjoyed her blog.

By the way, congrats on your weight loss!

  39. Like her style.. but I hope this isnt the same “Lola” who left all those negative comments about the $3K dress Bey wore to a charity event :/

  40. Love her looks and her blog – cute, wearable, affordable, effortless, real woman style!

  41. I voted bombshell for this one because clearly show makes these outfits look fabulous and chic. Plus, they all fit her body type. Someone mentioned earlier that the difference here between her and others is that she clearly has an understanding of what fits her body. Also, who cares about the blue shorts being seen three times? She rocked them very well each time. Plus, she’s showing versatility with the shorts, which is something we very rarely see. I love it!

  42. I love all her looks, I think everything fits her well, and I loved that she actually submitted a myriad of different looks. Plus she automatically gets a Bombshell for me because I grew up in Richmond until I left for college and this is a region where you typically see gold-plated glasses and a plethora of Coogi sweaters 0_________0

  43. absolutely a bombshell!! and for all of yal talking crap about her being on the thicker side….you’re just mad she pulls it off! She’s a breath of fresh air because both fit and thick girls can try her looks out. Don’t hate her cause she’s fabulous…. Doll you look great!
