I’m not feeling this…at all. And she’s from Cali?! Ugh! On a positive note, I like that she plays with color and seems very comfy in her skin!
She remind me of a secretary, you know the ones that have to dress proffesional 4 days out of the week, but Friday is casual day. But my OPINION kudos to you but everything looks weak and basic, like BASIC

Her fashion is something Mama Dee (LHHAtl Lil Scrappy’s mom) would totally rock. Kinda Hood Rainbow fashion. Everything looks very cheap and basic from head to toe.

She is giving me citi trends couture !!! And I am not here for it . Her looks remind me of the lady off pastor wives or one of those church lady catalogs you get in the mail. Truth be told some of these outfits look a whole lot better than this supposed high fashion nonsense that some of these celebs be wearing that yall fawn over because they cost however many thousands of dollars! She has a great figure and chooses good fits to compliment it. I don’t care where she shops, I think she puts the pieces together quite nicely. I especially like the yellow pants outfit.

Fashion looks terrible…especially the shoes and hair. On the positive side, I will say that she has a nice shape.

not the worst submission ive seen. she gets an A for effort. as for the rainbow, dots comments idk if she shops there, but i do know i LOATHE those stores because they sell the worst quality things(cant even call them cloths). I loathe them as much as i loathe going to any hairstore named “KIMS”…ok i got that out.

These comments are too much!! There’s nothing wrong with how she looks. She’s very well put together and the proportions are well intact. My favorite look is the blue maxi skirt. Keep being you and don’t these comments get you down!!
Am I wrong or is cheap just a reference to the price paid for the item of clothing? Because I’m under the impression that expensive clothes can come off cheap if they are poorly constructed or over accessorized.
She shows promise but she’s going to have to edit her looks, pay attention to fit and fabric choices and invest in quality pieces to take what she already has to a higher level. Great use of color and silhouettes.
See there is a nicer way to say things.
But you have such a pretty face to be covering it up with all those long swoop bangs! Otherwise she’s well put together. I think some of the outfits would look better if the pic was better quality.

The thing that I think some people are missing is that people are not saying that are clothes are bad because they are cheap.
There is nothing really wrong with clothes that have a cheap cost. If you wear a nice piece that doesn’t scream cheap, who cares how much the actual cost was? You can get nice pieces from the thrift store that no one would guess cost you $3.
It’s when things actually give off the impression of looking cheap, whether they were really cheap or not. It comes down to prints, fit, and fabrics.
Take a look at some of Nicki Minaj’s posts for example…expensive clothes but they have a cheap look lol.

Women are so cruel to other women. I cant believe some of the comments. Not constructive at all. You don’t have to like her style and constructive criticism is ok but to try and down someone else and just be down right nasty is so tastless and classless. But typical of a lot of women who hide behind a computer and write and don’t have the courage or self esteem to submit pictures of themselves. I cant believe these comments are allowed.
The outfits aren’t THAT bad but they definitely don’t say work appropriate to me.. Lol these looks all scream club to me. More conservative, but definitely party/ club attire
Compared to the HORRIBLE put together looks I’ve seen on women at my office who are a size 2 and wear constant JCrew, this is a breath of fresh air. She looks nice. There’s always room for improvement, but she has the basics right. (Just change the shoes boo)…

I think there were some hits and some misses. A big part of fashion is its functionality. She looks cute and appropriate for where she spends the majority of her time…her office. A few of her pieces read, “cheap” but not all. She knows her body and her fit is great. One thing I would say is splurge on shoes even if you cut corners on other pieces. Your feet are what hold you up and they should look fabulous. Unfortunately, poor quality shoes are often very obvious. Kudos for submitting your style. That’s something most of us commenters (including myself) have not done.

Jay is right, corp offices are usually made up of drones wearing grey and black, so good for her for bringing some fun into the workplace. As far as my critique, I’d say more subtle weave and makeup would freshen her look.

Wait so let me get this straight. This girl is “cheap” and “tacky” but the other girls submitting pictures in leggings and platforms or the oh so fashionable litas and bodycon dresses with no creativity “did that” please. You guys are really something while her taste in clothing isn’t my cup of tea, she doesnt look a mess and she is,neat and put together. I dont need for every fashionista to look like she came out of Zara.
I usually don’t comment on bombshell post but I agree @anonymous 9:34 pm. Leslie won me over with her reply to those ridiculous comments as well! Bravo! While her style is not my style, she seems like a nice positive woman who keeps her head high and dresses to make herself happy. That’s a bombshell to me!

bombshell? not in my opinion. but not because of the price of her clothes. i find that people who can pull pieces together from different styles, eras, cultures, etc while still maintaining a cohesive look are the ones i’m inspired by. while this submission does a good job accentuating her curves, every single piece from head to toe looks like it came from the same sale rack. THATS what cheapens the look imo. but good effort, leslie!
