Happy Monday, Bombshells!
Sorry for the delay with today’s feature: I flew back from ATL to NYC today and there was no Wifi on Board (who does that)?!?! At any rate, without further ado, I give you Kemerlin from Queens, New York:

“This look was in celebration of my birthday. I decided to do something different this year and truly celebrate myself and where I am in my life. Challenges, yes.. but I’m always the victor. I would describe my style as classically chic and detailed obsessed.”

“All Black Dopeness was the inspiration behind this look. Just one of those days where you don’t want to get all dolled up but still compelled to be fashionable. Well, do we have a choice?! Either way here’s my Causal un-casual. The Look: Black V neck tee (Forever 21); Skinny sweats (Zara); leopard/spiked flat (Steve Maden); Leather and cloth 3/4 jacket (Zara) cognac basket bag (Zara). “

“Effortlessly Cool and Chic was the inspiration for this look. It was all about looking great and not trying.
The Look: Black lettered graphic Sweat shirt; distressed loose boyfriend jeans; Victoria metallic gold pointed shoe (Steve Madden); Betsy Johnson hearts’ bag w/ patented leather strap; Ray Bans and my hair.”

  1. I see trends, but they don’t overwhelm the look or overpower you. Outfits seem effortless.

  2. There are people from certain cities who I judge to a higher standard – London, New York, Paris, LA, Milan etc…I expect them to be more exposed.

As such, I do not rate this lady’s style very highly – many of her pieces are outdated….the brown Zara bag circa 2006 for example.

She looks nice but is totally uninspiring.

  3. Hi, everyone! Thank you much for your comments. I appreciate it all. To those that loved the hair, thanks. I’m not a hair blogger; however, if you reach out with questions, i can surely answer. To Dayo thank you as well. Honestly, i’m not like everyone. And i’m perfectly fine with that.. And i’m very well pleased I didn’t live up to your standard. Uninspiring to you but I am/will be to many. Therefore, in that case, i guess it’s fine to wear “outdated” things. I’m not sure where vintage would be since it was in style before circa 2006. Either way… THANK YOU FashionBomb for the feature. I thank you! Happy Tuesday, everyone. Stay Cool. Much Love

  4. I think she looks fabulous. First, love the hair! Second, this is a great example of a woman who is effortlessly put together, who is busy because she has ish to do. I don’t see outdated, most of these look classic .
