Today’s Bombshell is Nigerian born Baltimore resident Karima:

She writes, “You featured me as a fashion bombshell a little over a year ago.”

“I am writing to be featured once again.”

“... I would like to show your readers how my blog and style has matured from my last time being featured, now that I am in my early 20s.”

“I created No Dress Code (www.dresscodezero.blogspot.com) to blog about fashion, hair, and how I incorporate both in my everyday life.”

“… My style has not changed since my last feature but instead it is a more refined version.”

” I would describe my style as mix between classic and contemporary.”

” I believe in minimalism.”

” ‘When in doubt, less is more…’ that’s my motto…”

” I apply that to fashion as well.”

I love your motto–sometimes the most simple, refined looks have the most impact. And I definitely see an evolution since your first feature (see it here). Great looks!

  1. I adored majority of her looks. Definitely a bombshell. Claire you should post a link of her previous entry so I could see how much she has improved.

  2. I really like. Sure, not much says POW but there is something about her… je ne sais quoi, but I appreciate. Perhaps it’s her regal nature, the pops of colour…what ever it is, I like.

  3. Nigerian bombshells always deliver. I like everything except the grunge look with the neon yellow bag.

  4. I love everything about her style! Simple, chic’, and versatile…Take notes ladies. #ConversationPiece

  5. Wow, very cool sense of fashion. I don’t think she’d take bombshell of the year, but it would be nice to see her win “most improved!” Cute stuff!

  6. The grunge look with the neon yellow bag was the best of it all! While the brown skirt/white blouse combo had so much potential it made me angry to see it flop (if she’d only have put on a supportive undergarment…unless that’s the cut of the skirt).

  7. Not bad. @Sun.Kissed you’ve been commenting on this blog a long time, lol. It looks like she took your advice and got a better camera!

I love the look with the yellow top and black skirt!! <<<My fav.

  8. I like her style so cute. I’ll say this Karima stay away from those long weaves….it takes so much away from your face. The pic of you with the bunned natural is really flattering to your facial structure.

  9. it’s okay. u have to be careful w/ this particular style b/c we’ve seen it before. a couple of pics should have shown a more diverse style. but it’s a bombshell nonetheless!

  10. How refreshing! I loved her use of color and good quality bags. She has an amazing body so she could pull off a sheet I’m sure! Bombshell indeed.

  11. Love most of it. Went on her blog I’m turning 23 so I can relate to this kinda style. Tryna to keep on trend without looking a hoocified mess is difficult. Plus having a great body temps all kinda foolishness. You on the other hand look great, young ,trendy and fresh without being extra. Kudos to you mama! I vote bombshell!

  12. One of the years best!! Every single look was fire! What is she doing with her life? I offer $50 gift card to Norstrom if I feature GBF beauties. Yes she is one of this years best.

  13. YAY Baltimore!!!!!!!!! I love this girls style and I think she has certainly evolved! There isnt a single look I dont love….. just moved to Baltimore and starting a Baltimore Blogger Group like the awesome one I was a part of in DC….. Karima let me know if you are interested! :)

  14. She’s really a bombshell… I’m loving everything except the black nylon skirt… Seems like Nigerian sisters are carving a niche for themselves in fashion… Thumbs up girl.. You nailed it..
