Are you ready for our newest Bombshell?

Today we have Jen, a new reader from sunny San Francisco:

She says, “My style is eye catching and sexy i.e. “She Made U look””

“I’m a bit of a label whore but I rock their labels my way.”

” I’m a bigger girl…5’11 thicker build. A tough fit, but I always make it work.”

Cute looks!

  1. not feelin it….even with the “designer labels” it’s still blah…definitely not eye catching. Cute girl tho…

  2. She’s very lovely, but there isn’t anything clever or fashion foward about her style. I wish her luck in finding and evolving her style.

  3. She’s a new reader. Maybe she didn’t know about the criteria for Bombshell or about the standard.
Anyway, womp. Her YSL tee is ok.

  4. Thanks or no thanks rather either way @SheMadeUlook ….I’m true to myself and “my style” Everyone trys so hard to be different the look the same. Simply Chic…

  5. Jen, I know you probably get this a lot but you look just like ANTM vet Tocorra :) I love your simple chic style. The over-the-top, wild not mild style is not for everyone and I like that you go for the simple and clean genre without reserve, GOOD FOR YOU, and you truly are beautiful :) GO YOU!

  6. I had to read Jen’s response a few times to decipher the typos and the grammatical eye sores. Yes, you made us look. You submitted your looks for our comments… so duh, we are looking. Sadly, we then turned away unfazed by your “meh” style and delusional commentary. The outfits are average and rather ghetto. And I’ll stay mum about the “designer’ pieces. Hey, but as long as you like the way you look when you walk out of the house everyday…

Can we please get a worthy follow up to the impeccable Lily of Bleedforstyle.com?

  7. The over the top ‘style’ is redundant and ridiculous looking. It’s a ‘trend’ that people follow so that they can fit in, in the fashion world so to speak. This girl looks like she has her own style and stays true to what SHE likes and not what the fashion blogs tell you to wear. You look AMAZING girl! Keep doing you! P.S. LOVE the green and black Choos ;-)

  8. I’m not feeling it. I think you could benefit from a more flattering hairstyle and bolder accessories. Also, I don’t think you should belt anything under your breasts. It makes your torso look ill proportioned. I like the ankle length black pants, but not how you styled them.

  9. Having a style doesn’t mean you have to be over top and dress like Rihanna . She is simple and that is a style..HER STYLE! There is no need for insults. You can disapprove of her style without resorting to cheap blows.

You look so much like Tocarra, i love that you wear stuff that fit your frame.Love that YSL tshirt

  10. LMAO @ “My style is eye catching and sexy i.e. “She Made U look”

Gworl! this thread is about to get messy. I’m out of here chiiiild.

    *clutches pearls*

  11. Thanks for the positive comments and the negative too :) @mpo I did make a typo it happens from the choo gucci louis fendi d&g its all legit and I’m boughetto :)…. Tocarra is beautiful I’ll take follow me @SheMadeUlook or on FB/JenJJohnson

  12. I think people mistake designer names with fashion and style. While many designers design great pieces just wearing it alone doesn’t make you the most stylish being. Owning a low end LV or Gucci bad doesnt make you fashionable and stylish or make people want to look at you. I think her style is ordinary but it works for her and it’s her style so she’s free to do as she pleases. Fashion/Style is subjective. I say keep doing what works best for you Jen!

  13. Correction lol ***I think people mistake designer names and brands, some think if you own a piece or two you are fashionable or stylish than someone who doesnt have those pieces****

  14. SMH at her comment. Jen honey just take the good with the bad and keep it moving no need to acknowledge what’s said by name dropping designer brand names. It’s rather tacky actually. It’s great that you own those brands however it doesnt mean you have this insane style that makes people look.

  15. SheMadeUlook speaks more to my build and Thanks I love my lables in any every form. I’ll comment back because I welcome all comments. Follow me @SheMadeUlook

  16. Very pretty girl but from looking at the pictures she summited she looks tacky for the most part, no style whats so ever.

  17. Darling, are you familiar with the use of punctuations… no? I guess not.
Overall she is a “womp whomp”. Designer items do not necessarily equal style. If you don’t know how to put it together, it really doesn’t matter who makes it. No, she doesn’t have to be a Rhianna. But she should probably know how to dress for her figure.

Boughetto (But judging by her comments and pictures, heavy on the “ghetto” part).

  18. I really can not deal with the ghetto girl pose. Better luck with tomorrow’s Bombshell of the day.

  19. I don’t see anything wrong with her style. *shrug* I was actually getting tired of seeing bombshells with the same slouchy-shirt-harem pants-brogues look.
PS-She has great posture and she’s smiling in her pics. That’s a plus. I applaud her confidence.

  20. “Certainly, where I was brought up there was a society–and everyone knew what you could get away with and what you couldn’t. You could go out and buy all the right clothes, and you’d still be sneered at, because you were aspiring to something beyond your place. This is what I find remarkable about Americans–they believe that if you buy the right clothes you will be accepted by the right people, regardless of where you come from. It’s quite touching, really. I don’t know if I believe that. But I suppose it’s a good thing they think it, as it keeps the fashion business going”- Suzy Menkes Fashion Editor, International Herald Tribune

    :)

  21. Her style is typical.. she takes no risk.. and for her to say that shes doing her own thing to make her stand out shes not.. shes wearing plaid.. who doesnt own plaid and leggings.. her bags are basic and so are her shoes… nothing about this says individual or stylish.

  22. WOW. ‘Ghetto girl poses’? Is she bent over backwards or something? NO! She is a beautiful girl who loves the clothes that she wears, designer or not. She loves designer items. SO WHAT! So did ‘Carrie’ in Sex & the City. Nothing is wrong with her loving labels. As far as all of the snide remarks, you guys are ridiculous. YOU aren’t feature as Bombshell of the Day! SHE is! So obviously she’s doing something that you aren’t. State your opinions about her style but don’t be rude or disrespectful.

Jen, I LOVE that you are so confident! Keep it up girly!

  23. Not my style, but at least she’s confident… as she should be. She does resemble ANTM Toccara Jones too, in the red/black plaid. TJ’s a beautiful confident plus sized model. Toot, toot for confident curvy girls around the world :)

  24. @Isabella, I concur. When someone submits their photos for Fashion Bomb, they know what they’re getting themselves into. I’m not a big fan of her style, but I do respect her confidence. There’s no need to get nasty fashionistas!

  25. The trench coat in the first pic is cute. And the bags are cute, BUT the thing about label whoredom is that it takes away from actual fashion. Speedy bags are cute, sure, but everyone wears them (real or fake), so are they really all that fashionable?

I guess the real issue is what is fashion? Is it looking good, or is it something more? Does it require creativity, originality, and uniqueness?

  26. *sigh*… fashion is so objective….not my style, but if it works for her kudos. Not a fan of the eyeshadow in the leopard outfit. Less is always better :)

  27. Love your confidece your style is you..some people kill me on here, this style is no different that the last few evryone gave hig praises to…In time your style evolve with who you are..your style is simple and put together

  28. She needs a do over!!!! …. I’m not impressed …on the streets of nyc she would get noticed for how dated her style looks .. sorry! =/

P.S. not hating just saying try something more fresh

  29. Gorgeous girl however I am not impressed in the slightest with her choice of outfits. I agree with some of the posts which state her fashion sense is rather average. Don’t get me wrong the outfits are nice, but defiantly not fashion forward especially not eye-catching in the slightest. Once again a very beautiful girl.

  30. She does look like Tocarra and is very cute but don’t thinks she’s a Fashion Bomshell…

  31. i am not a fan of her personal style, but i think she is gorgeous, luv her height, weight, and face…she looks like Tocarra from ANTM..mayb she should try some plus size modelimg

  32. *sigh* here we go again…

she’s a pretty chic but as for having “style”… nope, not feeling it.

  33. jen ii love iit love the style love how you turn it into your own style she looks more liike nicki minaj to me lol

  34. I think what people are tryingto say is that her style is simple, and nothing sticks it. You either have it or you don’t. i don’t think she has it, but she doesn’t dress horrible either. At least she’s not tacky like some people.

  35. its not a style because a million girls look like this and do it better, boring,no sense of style looks like your average chick at the mall who gets the same thing everyone gets and tries(but fails) to make it her own.just because you wear labels doesnt mean you have style
