Happy Monday, y’all!
We’re continuing our DMV streak with the fab Genevia from Maryland:

She says, “I am interested in being featured as the Fashion Bombshell of the Day.”

20120305-181303.jpg

“…I am co-founder of the image & wardrobe consulting company, Vice As If www.viceasif.com as well as a blogger for www.viceasif.blogspot.com.”

20120305-181331.jpg

“I would describe my personal style as plain Jane with an attitude. I enjoy keeping things simple, but never too common. Things that already have personality and add to mine are the best things money can buy!”

“I find myself at lots of thrift stores, consignment shops and vintage stores.”

” Contemporary pieces are delightful too; I like mixing old with new.”

20120305-181406.jpg
“Basically, I have fun with my clothing, and I don’t take myself too seriously. Downtown cool, always!”

  1. Genevia, I love the way you play with colors and patterns. You do it well babe, headed to your blog now :-)

  2. I love her style. I instantly thought about the early 90s with some of the outfits. (I feel so old saying that). Dope style indeed

  3. Beautiful lady, nice pieces here and there but I’m not really feeling it. Her style looks like anyone even a person with no eye for style could put it together. IDK, for me a great fashion bombshell is one who makes you feel as though she has some innate ability to see things and put things together that a vast majority wouldn’t see or do. I hope this didn’t come off as negative, just my honest opinion.

  4. She’s fab. I remembered her from your pictures Claire. I need those green pants!

  5. Love, love, love, those leather pants! I’d take a pair in every color! Wonder where she got them!

  6. Hmm, I’m too obsessed with fit and tailoring to give her a thumbs up. Nothing seems to fit quite right on her body besides those lovely leather pants. I do love those green wide leg pants though and colorwise it looks great with the purple blouse.

  7. Those red leather pants remind me of this red leather suit my mom had back in the day. Love those and the nude pump, ehhh on everything else.

  8. Oh no. Nothing fits her properly. She doesn’t appear to have weird proportions. There’s no reason for her outfits to be so sloppy. I can’t.

  9. I wish her looks were more tailored to her frame. I can’t get past the pants on the ground. I love a hem that hits the bottom of my heel but I don’t want mud or fringed material on my good quality clothing. Get a few alterations.
    Over all, great unique style!

  10. I like her style. As a woman in the business world, she does it for me. Love the wide-leg pants, really great on her.

  11. I like her style. As a woman in the business world, she does it for me. Love the wide-leg pants, really great on her (though they need to be hemmed).

  12. I absolutely love the green trousers and purple blouse…I’ve been on the hunt for them ever since I saw them in Claire’s fashion week photos! Are they Alice and Olivia pants?…. I’m going to check out her blog to see who makes them!

  13. Love her style and was attracted to her colour block outfit she wore to Mercedes Fashion Week. I am indeed in a hunt to find coloured wide legged pants..

I am really diggin her red leather pants!! Teamed with the nude shoe and top!! FLYYYYY

  14. Great sense of style and ability to match simple pieces with statement pieces.

  15. Yooooooo….!! That second pic, in the dress & booties…..yes.yes.and yes. I too am a trouser & dress girl. You don’t need all that trend.o.rama crap all the time. Great job Girly!

  16. LOVE your style..however, you could use a good tailor. Alterations are your friend! A good fit/proper hem makes the look a little more polished.
