Today’s Bombshell is Febeh from Maryland:

This is actually her second time as Fashion Bombshell of the Day, because she says, “After losing almost 60 pounds and cutting off my hair again I wanted to show off my new frame and new sense of style.”

“My style hasn’t changed much..”

“I still stick with simple, versatile, and somewhat trendy clothes when I go shopping.”

“Simplicity is my biggest motivation when I shop and also when I put things together.”

“Check out my blog www.smallwaistandbighairdreams.blogspot.com for fashion and weight loss advice.”

Congrats on your weight loss! I’ll have to take a look at your blog and check out those tips…and um. Where did you get that jumper?!?

  1. Very adorable lady..very cute looks fit your personality it seems..and congrats on the weight loss how inspiring : )

  2. Indeed congrats on the weight loss! But now u can focus on the fit of things if you’ve hit your goal weight, and the cardinal rule…Before you leave the house take one thing off!!! A necklace, scarf, bracelet, something..A woman’s neck is not a hanger..

  3. You nailed the last look. I like the way you look in pants with tapered legs, that elongate your body, instead of straight-leg or slighty-flared pants, which weigh down your frame by adding volume to the ankles. I feel like a lot of these looks could have been much more effective if you toned down the accessories, and stuck with one or two statement pieces. The jean shirt look would have been great without the necklace and the scarf. The looks that didn’t do it for me at all were the first and fourth looks.

  4. Nice pieces! She has color-blocking down to a science! Weight loss deserves praise! Kudos dear!!

  5. Congratulations! Definitely think your style has improved. I will say that some of the outfits are a bit over accessorized…so I would actually tone that down. Loving the hair :-)

  6. Congrats on the weightloss! Your rocking your new look! My fave is the first pic but I am also loving that tribal print jumpsuit!

  7. Go Girl! Congratulations on the weight loss. I really dig individual pieces from every outfit, just not the outfits as a whole. Like the jumpsuit for example, it is fabulous, but needs to be belted and paired with a different blazer, necklace and shoes. Those red shoes are hot. Good luck on maintaining your weight loss.

  8. She has improved greatly!! Congratulations!!! I remember her last FB entry. Her look has improved significantly.

  9. Congrats! You look GREEAATT! I love everything, even the extra accessories because they are becoming to your style! Now about those red shoes and jumpsuit…..YES MAAAM!

  10. Jumper is from Dorothy Perkins everyone.
Thank you for the comments and I do see what you all mean about toning down the accessories.
    Thanks for the comments

  11. I like the tribal idea, but I think that blazer through off the outfits and for some reason most of the outfits look mature. Its like i look at you and see a “could be” younger more contemporary lady. Like the red and black outfit, those shoes puckled your feet too much and again that blazer and the loose pants dont seem to be stylish.

  12. Luv the jumper in the last pic. However the blazer was UN called for,but big up on the weight loss!!””

  13. It takes a lot of courage to send in your photos to be a Fashion Bomb. My take is to always find something positive to share.
    Love the jumper!
    Congrats on the weight loss.

  14. Congrats on the weight loss !! I just need to lose about 15 lbs but i cant lol… definitely an inspiration !!

  15. @ Febeh

Don’t tone down on your accessories. If you feel like wearing them as clothes…do so! I absolutely love em!

  16. Febeh dont listen to some of these haters. you look amazing and the weightloss not alot of people can come up with enough strength and commit themselves like you do.
@exfatchic what does you weekly style look like. STFU and stop hating

  17. *chuckles* @anonymous One day I PRAY (females who agree please also join me in prayer) .. that “disliking” someone else’s PERSONAL style will not be a euphemisim for “hating”. GAWD this is already soo boring *yawns* Because Trust Love… I am clearly not, it simply is not my cup of tea. But I apologize Febeh Hate is a strong word, it was just the first thing that came to mind. *KanyeShrug*. BUT RELLLLLLAX!!!! I said “I hate it” the objective word being “I” !… I didn’t say it was hideous or disgusting or a castrosphe … Febeh has submitted twice to Fashion Bombshell so I am 100% certain she has Confidence to the high heavens, to take my personal opinion with a grain of salt.

As for my “Weekly” personal sense of fashion .. I am a Grad Student, have a Corporate Job in Pharmaceutical Industry, and Work out HEAVY. Therefore I will GLADLY admit, it can be defined as Saltine Cracker Boring Business Casual. I do not have the time or leisure to explore any of Febeh’s or most of these fashionbomb outfits. But the “Weekends” thats another story. *winks* Even still, Does that mean I am not at liberty say I personally do not like someone else’s outfit selection?!?!

If that is the agreed consensus I will gladly SIT MY ASS ALL THE WAY DOWN! But, I am sure that is not Claire’s intentions for this comment board. But again, RELAX! Please don’t be so sensitive, these comments are NEVER that serious … Carrying on.

  18. and anonymous I too lost over 100 pounds thus the name ex fat chick.
I hardly keep up with my blog again too busy but just too humor you phat-2-phit.blogspot.com

  19. It’s great that she absolutely rocked her outfits no matter what her weight was, love it. Also she’s getting it with the naturalistic hairstyles!

  20. Lol ya’ll are funny.
    smh
Febeh you are still growing as a young woman according to your blog so i know your style will change again but you look great regardless and congrats on the weight loss.

  21. For a girl with natural hair shes gorgeous!!
Her Outfits are so so but nobody is perfect at anything.

  22. Love the looks! I understand what some of you mean as far as over-accessorizing, but I don’t know… I kinda feel like lots of jewels set you apart as a queen! Lol… I’m so NOT a fashionista, just a lady who enjoys seeing a sista with an aura. Which Febeh obviously has. So much so, this is my first time being moved to comment on a Fashion Bomb. So carry on, Miss Febeh.
