Today we’re taking an up North trip to Toronto, where writer and blogger Doreen reigns:

She says, “My style comes from a diverse range of sources so I guess you can call it eclectic.”

“… I dress up according to what I’m feeling that particular day and make sure that a bit of personality is reflected through.”

“I also collect a whole lot of vintage pieces because they’re classic and never really go out of style.”

“When it comes to fashion, my belief is that, it doesn’t have to cost anyone as long as they’re creative enough to make the cheapest thing on the rack look great.”

  1. Even though her style is eclectic, it’s not all crazy like I’ve seen in past Fashion Bombshell pieces. I like it :)

  2. whats up with the Fashion bombs poses lol….pretty girl love the style especially the jeans shorts ..got to get some of those !

  3. i really like her style…it’s cool, the pieces look like something you’d have to put thought into finding and putting together….thumbs up!

  4. You know you guys are a joke sometimes…This girl puts on some oversized glasses, a blazer, and some florals and now she has great style…I don’t think her style in these pics is any better/or worse then curvy Jen from San Fran, whose style I did not think was as bad as the comments made it seem. While I apreciate Doreen’s style choices (I’m a lover of skirts and fashion earrings) I am also personally over the “trying to look different” look b/c everyone ends up looking the same….

  5. I think her style works for her, it’s cute on her and she looks comfortable/effortless in it. that’s what matters.

  6. What style???…Do u shop at a thrift store??…I’m sorry but your clothes look very old. And your style is what i see often every1 dresses the same on this site.

  7. LOVE that camel blazer. Definitely the kind of piece that one could put to work, adn she does.

    I like!

  8. I agree with Candace. It seems like for the bombshells lately they fall in to three categories and they all pose the same exact way. Its like in order for commenters to like your style you have to wear oversized clothes, big glasses that EVERYONE wears….they are sooo two seasons ago any way, floral prints, leggings and oxfords. This “unique different style” is becoming very cliche because everyone is doing it. Read the refinery 29 post on how to be a style blogger…it is gives the step-by-step detail on what to do leaving no room for variety. If a person doesn’t follow this format then it seems like everyone attacks them or they are not fashionable. SMH

  9. I like her “vintage“ style it`s cute, it looks good on her ! Yeah but I hear you guys with the repetitive “unique“ style everyone is tryna do but hey that fashion trend will fade and the ones who has true style will remain. You go my fellow Canadian !

  10. Doreen is doing her thing and I appreciate her style – its not often that you see bloggers who show that you can be stylish without breaking your pockets…. Great job!!!

  11. very nice selections and well executed! Personally, the thing that makes people “look alike” is the fact that we all have access to the same pieces, same stores etc. Its hard to ever find people not wearing the same things as you! But its the way that you put it together is what makes it your own signature style! I’ve seen many people wearing the same pieces as me but never have they styled it like me! Do you girl! Tdot in the house! xoxox TY

  12. everything is casual and 80’s early 90’s cute. The only advice I would give s that heavier legs shold wear black leggings with skirts. It shrinks you down.
