Outfit no.3 is my favourite… sophisticated with the added boost of colour, as well as the great choice of jewellery.
Respectfully, I cannot agree, @flywon. Thought it was the one outfit in this pic collage which did the absolute least for her body. Perhaps it was the jewelry? The B/W dress after that one (which a different shoe or bag choice) was better in terms of dresses.
Fav Fit: Cartoon crop top and high waisted (p)leather A-line skirt. I can’t comment on the lipstick trend but the silhouette here was perfect for her.
Deandra definitely does have a range. Check me reading her as if I know her personally or have some knowledge to give. All I can really say is kudos on braving the submission process and getting picked!

Love the tribal bodysuit with the floral skirt in the top collage! Was looking for the individual pic in the post but it didn’t seem to make it. Very cute looks. I’m also typically not a fan of nonconventional-color lipstick AT ALL, but somehow the blue lippy worked in this instance. Love it. #bombshell

Gurl…the third pic with the paint splashed white dress thing you have would be DOPE if you wore it as a TOP instead. Cut that mess at the bottom off. It’s freaking HORRID!!!
Now with that said, I don’t like any of your pieces, but I do like the white paint splashed outfit just without that crap at the bottom. I can’t believe your friends let you wear that and didn’t say anything. Great body, I do see potential, but not with your current looks. Please read and look at REAL FASHION magazines like Vogue, Elle, etc. and work the looks into your budget.

The comments people leave are absolutely unbelievable. I do not see what women gain from ripping each other apart. After all these posts are to display “PERSONAL STYLE” if you happen not to like this person’s style why not just vote accordingly and keep you’re backhanded compliments to yourself.
I like her outfits, especially since she mentioned she shops on a budget!!! As a grad student that loves fashion I can relate to that statement!!!! .
However,I am growing quite weary of the negativity found in comments lately.There is honest constructive criticism and then there is meanness. The way some of you state your rude opinions is disgusting. I’m sure it doesn’ t matter what fab outfit you wear if your soul is ugly. Carry on
I actually love her looks. I see a lot of potential in her style. She has some fun pieces. I really like the last look with the floral cap.

It would be interesting if those who simply make catty/childish comments can include an image(s) of what they look like and how they would have done better. Criticism should always be constructive.
With that said, I think what she says in her submission does not match the photos submitted. It doesn’t seem original, which isn’t a bad thing, it just seems confusing after one says they try not to wear what everyone else is wearing. Nothing wrong with being trendy or taking inspiration from others. I really liked the all white look as well as the third photo. The filters are distracting and makes the clothing obscure.
Although I do feel that some of these comments can be a bit much, it does clearly state with the submissions of the The Bombshell of the Day that…’Comments can be harsh, so bring your A game!…’ That being said, if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen!
Do you think Anna Wintour or Karl Lagerfield don’t pull out the claws? Of course they do! Are there folks on their smartphones or laptops pouring a fresh can of Haterade as they comment on here? You bet. But, this is the world we live in.
If you don’t like it, create your own site where YOU regulate what’s said. That is all.

Claire CLEARLY asks for 6-8 UNFILTERED pictures so we can actually see the outfit.
The filters are distracting and makes it harder to really see the clothes. But I do like the outfit with the comic crop top and pleated skirt maybe with a pop of color in the shoe

I think this submission was hurt by the description. She may not look like everyone in the average crowd, but I visit enough blogs to know that I have seen similar looks on most of the trendy women on those sites. There is nothing wrong with that necessarily. Pretty girl, cute clothes!

My view: I think her style is exceptional. She has a different look and she can go from classic to urban chic. I like that she mentioned that she likes to shop on a budget. I do too.

@Diva05, I’m “bothered” at the fact that with every submission if something is said that is not “positive” and all “glowing”, then the people behind the keyboard have to look like “trolls” or be “haters”. Why?
We’re not all gonna agree on the same thing. I’m not gonna give “fake” positives just to blow people’s heads up. I mean do the people that submit want “truth” or a bunch of fake platitudes?

Although I am AGAINST Instagram filters for Fashion Bombshell submissions (I mean really against them), I still voted bombshell.
First, I’m from Memphis (admittedly biased) and the STRUGGLE is real for any true fashionista who lives here. Our malls are so sad. Thus, I give her 2 bonus points for looking different from the F21 Memphis crowd.
Secondly, her looks reflect versatility. I have great fashion sense, but I lack versatility. I am a slave to the classics. She is not. Versatility is an essential characteristic of a fashion bombshell.
Lastly, her clothes complement her figure. Not too tight. Sexy, but not overtly.

Even though these outfits aren’t my style and I wouldn’t vote bombshell, I can agree that some of these comments are a bit much for people who may not be bombshells themselves. There’s a way to say everything. You can be honest without coming across as just plain old mean. Btw, DeAndra I love the way you respnded to the feedback. I do see potential. As long as you’re willing to learn & grow, nothing can stop you :)
