Today’s Bombshell is Courtney from D.C.:

We actually featured her sister and fellow blogger Leslie a few weeks ago, and she felt brave enough to submit a few pictures of herself:

She says, ” I think I have a very unique sense of style .”

“Attached you’ll find a variety of pictures of looks that I’ve featured on my blog.”

“Thanks I hope you enjoy and also to hear from you soon.”

Very eclectic. See more of her style at www.flyycoast2coast.wordpress.com.

Fashion Bombshell of the Day is a feature that showcases the singular style of Fashion Bomb Readers. Send your name, location, a description of your style, and your picture(s) to th************@gm***.com.

  1. The pairings work great. My least favorite look is the ill-fitted leather skirt and bandeau (looks awkward) or maybe the overly-prepped cuffed jeans look – though the cocks and shoes are a great touch. My favorite is the photo with the bermuda shorts paired with the cardigan, super cool. All sorts of hair fun w/those burgundy-orange tones and curly styles, especially that lovely poofy chignon! The red stockings, jean boots and smock are awesome as well. Thx FB!

  2. I applaud u for trying but none of these looks cut it for me. I think u are trying a bit too much to be “eccentric” or “different” do u really dress like that??

  3. No. And I’m not a fan of women looking like they have no pants or shorts on like with the plaid shirt and over-the-knee socks. Just no.

  4. Uggh…No. Nothing worng with being different but it seems as though you are trying too hard to be “unique” and it comes off as “tacky” more than anything.

  5. I want to like it, because it’s different but it’s not wowing me. I like the barmuda short look and the red jeans look. The leather jacket with the american flag is SCREAMING for me though. I’d love it in my life, lol.

  6. well thank you Claire for the feature! LOL to all of those that think I’m “trying” too hard, well guess what? That’s precisely why it’s my style, because it’s all mine. Yup I dress like this everyday :)

Peace and Blessings….stay flyy live flyyer and don’t forget to check out the blog —> flyycoast2coast.wordpress.com

  7. So we are back to making posts? Hope everyone will be nice this time!!! She’s cute in her individuality…those jean boots are cute too.

  8. i think she puts her outfits together in an interesting way, although some looks work better then others. the bandeu and skirt outfit looks ill-fitting and the no pants look isn’t particularly flattering. the black dress and camouflage coat looks pretty cool.

  9. YAY another DC bombshell! I cannot say that I would wear any of these looks but I think they still are fab. Fashion is about expression and individuality, it may look mass produced or it may look too “eclectic” but to the person wearing it its THEIR style. Great job Courtney! p.s. I am starting a DC fashion bloggers group and would love it if you wanted to join. if interested, get my contact info from my blog or look under past FB of March. Cant wait to see what you will wear :)
