  3. For me this is very reminiscent of how the girls dressed when I went to college in the DMV. There’s a lot of pieces thrown together. Sometimes it works its and looks brilliant. When it doesn’t it looks clownish. Hits & misses.

  8. There’s no direction and its stale. Out of all the looks only two of them don’t consist of stockings paired with shorts/shirt and a sweater/top.

  21. As a friend of Chiffon’s I have a bias. Her looks are beyond definition. Her pieces are thrown together to emote color and signify her mood. I LOVE it! Fashion shouldn’t be taken seriously but thought of as a platform to make a statement. Super surprised at the divide in the sand of liking her style. Some of the recent bombshells didn’t move me one bit. I don’t see “busy” I see bright colors used as “new neutrals” taking a fashion risk. Loves you Chiffy. Keep killing ‘em..

  39. Lip color is nice! Definitley some hits and some misses for me, but I love the first cape and the tan one as well! I’m personally not a fan of stocking and shorts, or peep toe shoes.

    She has some great individual peaces, but the way she is putting them altogether is not good. She should work on the makeup and not be so cliche. The forced poses. The name. This is my destiny. It is all so fashion blogger cliche.

  54. I honestly wouldn’t want her styling me or doing my makeup.Nice individual pieces but all thrown together the outfits are so contrived. Trying too hard. Ease up on the under eye concealer too.

  58. the open toe shoes with stockings are killing me softly. There are inly a select few open toe shoes that a stocking can be pulled off with. Sadly, she isnt wearing any such shoes.

    I love some of the individual pieces but none of the entire ensembles impress me. The looks seem very calculated like she was intent on proving she’s this “explosive mood ring” or whatever she called it.

  68. Like my girls back home would say, all types of wrong. The bed head was cute in a few pics, but after a while I just wanted to hand you a comb or a brush. The lip sticks were cool colors, but did not flatter your face.It looks like you Dressed yourself in the dark and was inspired by some grandma ish frumpy outfits are amazingly horrible. Open toes with….I wont even bother. I didn’t even bother reading everyone elses comments. Pocking out your lips in each picture doesn’t make your lipstick color flattering.You need to learn how to balance out your outfts, because it’s all over the place. Thank you for submiting, but NO!

  85. I like the idea of most of her looks but they could use some refining. Lose the knock-offs, heavy concealer, and take off at least one accessory in each pic- I believe the designer of your knock-offs said something to that effect-and she’s well on her way.

I also love how her bags are always the neutral, or anchor or the conservative piece to her otherwise mismatched looks. I like her a lot, and now I’m a blog follower.   90. I like the use of color and lipsticks. Several of the pieces are nice, but I would have paired them differently. I like the plaid cape and the outfit in pix #6 with the yellow/mustard top and polka dot shorts.

  92. These pictures look very, very forced. I get that you were trying to look fierce…but as much as you accessorized, a smile could have done some good in there too. The looks are very one-dimensional too… stocking+oversized top+heels.

    SN: I don’t get all the comments about the “critics”. I never agree with folks being nasty to one another, but calling commenters haters, and asking to see what they look like, seriously? Chiffon SUBMITTED her pics to this. I’m sure she’s frequented the blog and knows what goes down.     The Name – I am grateful to know the stunningly beautiful and talented Chiffon. Hey, Obama had to prove he was who he was to the world and he’s our Commander and Chief. Chiffon you should post your birth certificate…..One the other hand no, miss never mind you know who you are ….lol ……It was your birth write to be such a fashionesta with a name like “Chiffon Sparkle”

    The Look- Chiffon has always been a trend setter. I think her style just cant be imitated because its her own…..Chiffon is daring and bold her many looks just accentuate her natural born beauty.

    The Make up – Chiffon is a talented make-up artist her full lips are a canvass so bold colors pop she barely wears foundation especially in most of these pictures. http://www.c2palette.com/ is a better source. That’s her makeup site.

    The Bags – Fakes……lol…..Knock offs…..lol…….no but it would seem that way to a person who couldn’t afford them considering she has a selection of them. FACT

    Fact is Chiffon you were selected as the Bombshell of the day and you are the talk of the town because here we are two days later still talking about Chiffon ……I love it!!!! The pictures they asked you to submit are your everyday life pics, not a shoot for Fashion Bomb Daily….. Opinions are just that “opinions” but the fact is You are a Bombshell. Boom! I wasn’t trying to read a news article about chiffon star, glitter, or what ever she calls herself.It cracks me up how her full lips make it acceptable to wear crazy ass colors on her lips.Most black women have big lips, it’s an african trait! Say what you will but her style is unique and all her own. Chiffon owns every one of her looks and nothing seems contrived. People fear what they don’t understand and that is quite apparent after reading some of these negative comments. Peep toes with stockings? Yes ma’am! Sweaters with shorts? Why not? Clearly there are some people out of touch with the rest of stylish world but you need to be a lot more open minded!! Conformity is a disease!!   121. LOL! someone decided to write a book because this young lady recieved mixed reviews. At the end of the day her style is not on point, and her hair and lip stick colors are highly questionable. She has potential, and my advise would be to refine her style and come back next year. It looks like she rolled out of bed and got dressed my her aunt.

  123. For the previous commentor; do you know the definition of subjective? Bottom line, this young lady submitted her photo, thereby leaving her subject to the opinions of others. I’m convinced she has many friends that have thus commented, otherwise “following you dreams” and “creating your own path” wouldn’t even be discussion points. What exactly do those points have to do with FASHION? No one sees her pipe dreams of wanting to be a supposed makeup artist and wardrobe stylist, we see how she is presenting herself. Point. Blank. Overall, I personally do not like her style, not because I’m a “hater,” but because I have a thorough understanding of what fashion is. For those who are not aware, fashion is a) being able to properly match clothing, b) donning clothing that fits, c) not showcasing the same pair of shorts in several pictures, d) understanding that a “look” is a head-to-toe presentation. Chiffon has done none of these things, with a emphasis on point (d). So please those that are on the champion brigade for Ms. Glitter or whatever she calls herself, hate on that.
