We’re going back down South with today’s Bombshell, Chastity from Dallas, Texas:

She says, “My style is classic.”

“… but when the mood hits me I can definitely switch it up.”

” I’m open to wearing anything….”

” …[as long as it] yells fabulous!”

“I have a blog called Curvy Girls Guide to Style.”

“Check it out at www.garnerstyle.blogspot.com.”

Will do! You’re cute as a button, and your outfits are too! I love everything, save the pink jumpsuit. It’s super pretty, but I’m not sure the fit is flattering.

What do you ladies think?

  1. @ truth, if you were too distracted by her weight, then keep that to yourself. no need to post, unless you want to talk about her actual fashion. i’m sure she is well aware of her weight. this page is suppose to be positive, but internet bullies like you have taken over. have multiple seats, please \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_,

  2. now back to the ACTUAL post….i think you is cute, your fashion is a bit daring, and you pulls it off without looking costume-y…i would just work on proportions, the clothes fit well but you are bottom heavy, so take that into account when dressing and bulk up your top half while slimming your bottom for a more hourglass look. i love your pants and the leopard look….

  3. Love her style! She’s proving that being heavy doesn’t mean you have to give up style. Not really feeling the pink with the vest, but she gets it right in the rest of these photos. Great pick today, Claire! Keeping FB diverse.

  4. I think she looks absolutely fab! However, I am a little annoyed by the fact that her being a bombshell is not even a options. Hmm, seems a little bias.

  5. @ Truth…Kick rocks (bare foot)!

I love her take on fashion, her outfits are classic, polish, yet fun-loving and inviting. She seems to dress to match her personality. Everything works for her…I especially love the lace top and flair skirt at the auto museum.

  6. She’s Lovely!!! Its amazing how many great blogs I get to explore just from being a daily reader of the fashion bomb!!! Good Stuff, Love the blog!

  7. i think she is beautiful and dresses well, is very confident and i love it!

however, the pink pants are not flattering for her body type. . (*no shade or hate)

  8. her style is ok.. but she should cover her arms .. she look much better.. the photos where she wears jackets are lovley.. the one without is a no no.. basically tone your arms.. thats all.

  9. I love the dress/skirt combos she has! Fashion is about taking risks sometimes, and I think she does it the right way. I actually think with another choice top, and some tailoring, the pink jumpsuit would be a great look! Go girl! You look very chic! :)

  10. Personally I think she looks adorable!!!!!!…And I’m just not saying that b/c I’m a Dallas Native myself!…She has a sense of style that she knows will look good for her figure, you go girl!

  11. I think she has great style and I love that she uses color. I’m don’t like the harem pants either. I just don’t them — PERIOD.

  12. surely a FASHION BOMB! i love her sense of style and even more the fact that she is so comfortable with who she is..my fav is the tan shirt and black skirt! WORK IT!!

  13. She is WERKIN’ it, you hear me! I love how daring she is with her style, which seems effortless. Curvy or otherwise, this DIVA knowns how to accentuate her curves, maintain her femininity and work it! Now that is inspirational to ME!

  14. @ Erica B….checked out your blog and my lady you can sew your tail off!!…Any custom orders????

  15. Her looks are very well put together, you can tell she put thought into each of her outfits….very polished and classic! Werk hunty!!

  16. LOVE!!! I actually wore that Vera Wang Horse Hair Sash/Bow (last Pic) on my wedding dress. Been wondering what to wear it with since then… Great Job!!

  17. Very pretty girl and I love seeing a CLASSIC bombshell-well put together, classy, not doing too much. But doing it perfectly! go girl!

  18. Great style! Just goes to show you can be a fashionista at any size! I love how she plays with prints and color…she better werk!

  19. Overall, I think she looks great!

***I wish she would have left the outfit with the pink harem pants/jumpsuit out : / Love the pop of color, but that’s about it.

But since all of the other outfits are nice, she gets my vote, lol.

  20. Beautiful young lady however nothing about her style inspires me. I see a combination of these pieces everyday on the street…but when a curvy larger woman wears ’em she’s a bombshell? If these outfits were on a size 4 girls everyone would be going in. Not impressed.

  21. @ Kara I agree completely. Ppl are sensitive to plus size women on this site when it comes fashion. Nobody was moderating comments when ppl were ripping into the fashionbomb shell earlier this week.

  22. I really like her style she looks GREAT in everything in my opinion. I love the fact that she isn’t afraid to show her arms and she’s very comfortable in her skin… For all those who had something STUPID to say beauty comes in every shape size and color.

  23. I am a plus size gal and I read Chasity’s blog often, and I think more than anything it’s not just about her size, but also how she inspires people to think outside the box when it comes to size. I do agree with the lady who said that if we saw some of these on a smaller gal we may say, “what was she thinking?” But that’s the point. Many larger women wouldn’t even try it. She not only tries it, but she does it confidently and then encourages other ladies to do the same. So yes, judge her from these 4 or 5 pics. But then go read her blog and be inspired to be who you are, comfortable in your own skin, rocking whatever style you choose. It may be a hit or miss, but hey, you, tried it. And that’s her message. And it’s a hell of a statement. I’m sure she knows she’s bottom heavy. She talks about that too. She also talks about her hits and misses. Her mirror is not blurry. Let’s just make sure ours isn’t either!

  24. This girl is as amazing in real life as her pictures. She’s also written a how to book (The Curvy Girls Guide to Style) that’s a MUST for any plus size Bombshell.

    Congrats, Chastity, you look fab!

LJ (formerly of Pocketful of Pearls)

  25. @Kara – You maybe don’t realize this, but maybe if a these outfits were in a size 4 no one would be impressed, but in plus sizes these options are hard to find. Kudos for this girl for putting in the time and effort to finding these kind of pieces and knowing how to put them together. As you maybe can walk into a store and get every one of these pieces easily…she can’t. We have scrounge around to look fabulous. Think about it.

  26. I love all the looks. She is working ALL her outfits! Each piece works for her. You go girl.. show them how it’s done!!!

  27. Love her style! Especially the first look!

I would just recommend she watches the proportions of the bottoms and choose pants/skirts that are more flattering and that don’t add bulk.

Going to check out her blog now…

  28. Soooo @Polish…big girls cant have their arms out if they arent toned? You sound ignorant…yes, dress to fit your body type, dress in clothes that fit…but it isnt your job to critique the NORMAL body parts she wants exposed…its about the fashion…stick to that…she looks confident, HAPPY, classy and sexy in her clothes…kudos to her for still being FAB in a society where SIZE ALWAYS SEEMS TO MATTER AND IF IT DOESNT MATTER TO YOU SOMEONE WILL ALWAYS REMIND YOU. I read this blog everyday…often times the same haters….can some of you PLEASE submit pictures so we can critique you?

  29. @ Lydia, EXACTLY!

she has great style I OVERLY LOVE THAT LACE N TULLE COMBO!!! OKAY!
that oink jumpsuit doesnt flatter u at all…:( but you are VERY LOVELY! I LOVE IT!

  30. Love her style but I think the pink jumpsuit w/ vest doesnt do it for her…maybe if she did without the vest and substituted a cropped blazer it wouldve look better . . . But all and all she looked FAB!!

  31. cuteee…great choices for body type..classy..burn the outfit with the pink pants and vest but awesome nonetheless!

  32. I’m not sure that she is actually looking for advice, but more so showcasing her style. Maybe for some curvy girls out there they may not think they can rock certain things she is letting us know that there is room for us as well. I was never under the impression that submitting these pictures were for folks to tell her to work on this and that? I think she looks great, and maybe this works well for her persona. Telling someone to tone it down makes no sense unless they are looking for you to tell them that. This isn’t called ” tell me what to wear”….

I think she looks great, and she clearly isn’t worried about her weight. She excudes so much confidence that it doesn’t matter, she did the most with her pieces and everything looks flattering, colorful, bright and fun. I don’t think she is cute, because I hate being called Cute, I think she looks great.

  33. GORGEOUS……. I LIVEEEEEE, however those pink harem pants arent very flattering. Love your confidence :)

  34. she looks great she knows what works for her figure..that black and nude shirt/skirt combo I love the best/// but I must agree with Claire…those pink Hammer pants=No ma’am not flattering at all, but everything else is great.

  35. Chastity let me tell you, I flatlined and your style brought me back to life…I absolutely love love love it, I can do without the pink jumper but I will definitely be checking out your blog on a daily basis…one of the best I have seen this year :)

  36. So far, she is definitely my favorite in 2012. I loveeeee her classic style which is clear and defined. I hope she sticks to this look or variations thereof as she wears it very well!!!

  37. Love love love! You look very put together! Pic 2 is my favorite, so classic and beautiful! I want to start taking more risks because of you!

  38. That lace, tulle, and suede outfit is hotness! Not a fan of those harem pants, but everything else looks good.

  39. @Tia: I totally agree and I am DYING laughing at “have multiple seats, please \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_, \_,” LMBO LMBO

  40. haha – I love her style and I am a fan. This is just proof positive that big girls have no excuses not to be fly, unique and adventurous. (Yeah, the pink outfit is the only one that makes me tilt my head to the side – I can see what you were going for but the proportions are WAY off. Don’t forget your ABC’s! Accentuate, Balance, Camouflage.)

Heading over to her blog now.

  41. I LOVE CHASTITY. She’s super sweet and I’ve been following her blog for a little while now.

  42. She looks better than fabulous and ALWAYS does. Period. Regardless of size…her style shuts it down.

  43. I also follow her blog and I think that she is WORKING IT… She is an inspiration to plus size women, such as myself, and constantly reinforces the belief for me that just because I am a size 16 doesnt mean that I too can’t be just as beautiful/polished as a women half my size. She’s absolutely wonderful, and anyone who wants to pick on her because of something as shallow as her size obvi isnt too pleased with themselves.

  44. I love EVERYTHING & EVERY LOOK except that gawd awful hot pink jumpsuit/hammer genie pants fiasco.
Other than that , Ms. Gurl is DOING IT !!!

  45. she’s gorgeous and she makes her style work for her. i love that. the one thing I would say is, pay attention to how certain things fit your body type. those harem pants are not a good look… FOR ANYBODY. ALL harem pants should be burned. the vest she had on with them was a bit close in the bust, a size up would have been perfect. other than that, she definitely knows how to mix classic styles with modern touches. she’s not afraid of color either and that is simply fabulous!

  46. She’s pretty girl but yeah if she were on the opposite end of the spectrum…you guys would be screaming eat sandwich…kudos to her for still having style while being heavy…

  47. I literally turned my head in utter disgust when I saw that pink jumpsuit look, I couldnt wait to scroll down the page! But overall you does dress nicely for a plus sized woman. Some hits, some misses some of her accessorize overkill her looks.

  48. YOU BETTER WORK IT! GO HEAD MAMA! SHE CAN DRESS HER ASS OFF!! YES!! LOVE THE LACE TOP!

  49. I’m not even bothering to read the comments cause my blood pressure will probably rise lol

Anywho girl looks good and can put together an outfit. end post.

  50. Very pretty girl. Love her style. I love the retro inspired lace top and tulle skirt and the black/white stripe top and red heels. Love the color of the pink jumpsuit, but not the actual jumpsuit itself. Not flattering, color/fit draw too much negative attention to her hips and thighs. Otherwise, everything else is fabulous! I wouldn’t care if she was a size 4, 14, or 24 if she’s put together nicely and exudes confidence and personality, she’s definitely worth a second look. You go, honey!

  51. I don’t get it the unflattering comments. I think she is working that hot pink jumpsuit!

  52. Looooooooves Heeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! I love every thing (minus the pink jumpsuit) and gorgeous girl! She seems like she has a GREAT personality and a fun and fabulous person!

  53. I wish Curvy would stop being used in place of Plus Size because they are not the same thing.
Beyonce is Curvy, Lala is Curvy, Chrissy on Basketball Wives is Curvy ( sistas that are not slim and have equal breast/hip and small waist with flat stomachs)

Oprah, Jill Scott, Star Jones and this blogger are PLUS SIZE not curvy because they have a STOMACH and FAT ROLLS on the BACK that are the biggest physical feature.

  54. She looks fabulous. I don’t care for the harem pants either, but everything else is great. Plus she looks adorable!

  55. That lace blouse and the multicolored dress are so beautiful. Posts like this prove that plus size women do NOT have to look sloppy – like my supervisor at work. UGH. Werk honey !!

  56. I normally don’t comment but I LOVE Chastity’s style. Period. Not for a “plus sized” woman. But as a woman. Period. And the pink jumpsuit fits fine, its an unflattering pose in my opinion.

Chastity, your haircut looks amazing and you have one of the best senses of style that’s been featured on this site EVER!

  57. Beautiful girl, awesome outfits, my favorite is the tule skirt and cream tie neck blouse.

    Fancycurves.com

  58. I believe what I truly love about this bombshell, is that she thinks outside of the fashion box. That in itself is amazing regardless of size.

  59. Cute I love your style because it us girly and feminine. You pull off your style so well though I hate the pants but overall hot!

  60. The style is ok. But, that one pair of ballon pants things are not flattering at all.She is working it for a big girl.

  61. I sooo love the green top with the cream skirt, that outfit is super fab!!!! I also like the outfit with the lace top and black skirt. I don’t think the pink pants with the vest was flattering, but she’s definitely a bombshell.

  62. CONGRATS girl! So excited for you! It does my heart good to see plus size women featured in/on fashion media. What does it matter if you are fat or skinny? Aren’t we talking about style here? With our limited fashion resources, a stylish plus size woman should be admired! Only another plus size woman could understand the effort it takes to put together flattering AND fashionable outfits with such slim pickings (no pun intended)! lol Chastity, you are beautiful inside and out and your style is fierce! Keep inspiring us!

  63. If only all the skinny girls supported each other like the plus size girls do. Go Chastity!

  64. I think her looks were all very sweet and classy. Only look didn’t like was the pink harem pants and vest, it created an unflattering pear shape.

  65. Love love love her and her blog!!! Been following her for a minute now! Congrats on being bombshell of the day!!!

  66. The vest worn with the hot pink jumpsuit should have been the next size up. I hate to see the gaps between. That’s a clear sign that it’s the wrong size. But I love that she doesn’t let weight stop her from making a statement. Love her style.

  67. WERK! i love her style. now, the pink hammer pants…umm, NO! i like the color on her, but that jumper & that too tight vest is not the business.
her style looks effortless & polished; not forced like some of the more recent past fashion bombs. i especially like her in the skirts & dresses. i’m a small girl, but i appreciate real style at any size & she clearly has style.

  68. One of the best plus size girls i have ever seen represented on Bombshell. Her clothes fit her right and are very flattering. Love it!!

  69. Her style is great… She dresses well for her shape and knows her body very well!!!! She looks amazing!!!!!! I also love that her hair ALSO is complimenting the attire as well

  70. i think her style is amazing, especially considering that there aren’t as many options for plus-sized girls. i also have to echo the idea that the poll options seem a bit biased…

  71. I think she looks lovely, I like almost everything, I dont like the pink jump suite either. Love her nice make up and hair on every pix. Que chula

  72. I love her style… and she’s super cute.
Claire, FBD is my Feng Shui… keep up the great work.

  73. one of the best i’ve seen in a while ; i love how you’re comfortable in your own skin :)

  74. My jaw literally dropped! This chick is STUNNING, and her fashion sense is UNBELIEVABLE…..I LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOVE your style mama. Claire, at the end of the year make sure, she is one of the nominees for fashion bombshells of the year! DAMMMMMMMMN!

  75. Awwww…she looks fantastic! Chastity definitely has a good sense of who she is, what works for her body and therefore, a great sense of style.

  76. Cute looks but I don’t think most of them were that flattering to her shape. Especially the parachute pants, those are hard to pull off anyway. But she looks polished loved the leapord print dress with the shoes cute!

  77. I like her! She knows what suits and flatters her body(except the pink jumpsuit, but I forgive her)..
I love the fact that she is daring yet she covers her body in a good way..

    You go girl!

  78. All of the looks are nice except the pink parachute pants. Not everyone can pull this look off and the pants make her look bigger than she really is. We have to remember while its okay to have our own style, we still need to find pieces that flatter our shape or we will look at hot mess even if the clothing by itself is cute.

  79. Style over the top…. You have style when everyone can wear it young, old, middle aged, etc. This Girl has it and the person that does not think so, Get out of the fashion industry!!!
