  1. A girl with an education #Applause #HearHear As far as the clothing- not my cup of Tea. Let’s keep the comments classy people- when you point a finger at someone you point four back at yourself.

  2. Before I am attacked mercilessly for not allowing anyone to give their honest opinion….what I meant is that MORE than likely the Chandia will read these comments- so be critical if you must, just not mean.

  3. Yeah, not really feeling this gal too tough…but I can get w/ some of her footwear and jewelry though!

  4. She kinda runs the spectrum from classy to trashy..IMO. I think I would like to see her in more classic styles considering she is in law school and all. But not bad..so girl do you.

  5. i actually yell laughed. she’d be better off wrapping that degree around her body and wearing it. that was harsh…sorry….

  6. I love the fact that you’re an educated young black woman but this is fashion and I AM the alumni board. These looks are awful. It reminds me of the 90’s music video’s like Poison and Rumpshaker…are these recent pics?

  7. Some of the styling is like 90s female rapper meet video vixen which is not hot at all. Bu I do love the green dress, she needs to go with more of that look and none of the others. Lose the gloves, hats, shades, skinny pants, with over the knee boots, jumpsuits and any leather vests and you’ll look great

  8. Yeees a future female attorney! She has some cute pieces: the cheetah bodysuit, green (or grey can’t tell) dress fits her nice, and jumpsuit minus the hat. In the 1st few pics she reminds me of a Braxton no?? I can tell she has fun getting dress; can’t be mad at that!

  9. i don’t usually comment on the bombshells because i think it takes a lot of guts and although she is a very cute girl, i can’t get over the leopard print with the matching cat necklace and ring… is that being too literal? cute and smart girl though!

  10. I don’t know what’s up with you guys, I liked her style. The fit was on point, she didn’t over-accessorize go girl. Work It!

  11. Dang…This is a harsh crowd. lol It takes a lot of guts to wear animal print. So I give her a kudos for at least trying.

And high five to her for going to law school! Hopefully she’ll leave the leopard out of the courtroom.

Not my type of style, but all power to her!

  12. Girl do you…I’m from Florida and your style reminds me of when I was younger, single, full of life and fearless…not afraid to wear certain pieces together…now that I live in the DMV and am older I would never take the risks that I used to…but I kinda miss that about me.

It is clear that you are a focused young lady with goals and passion and that is most important…

  13. Her definition of her style is not coming across in the pictures.

However, I do like the look with the vest, print top, & jeans.

  14. Lmao @ Loni..not the Rumpshaker…I mean some if this is just plain, good old fashion tacky and cliche’. Not feelin any of this…(Notice how I stuck to fashion and didn’t get personal)

  15. I just had a flashback to my childhood, circa 95. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…

  16. Not feeling the black hat…very “dark wing duck”….but keep at it hon, I applaud your guts. T’would never be me up here.

  17. I just can’t get on board with any of these oufits except for the green dress (minus those fingerless gloves!!!). I definitely see early to mid 90’s in her looks, it really is not translating to current day IMO.

  18. How can you be CEO of a Fashion Consulting company when yourself you need a major Fashion intervention? Your clients must be team Stevie Wonder…smh… Everything is just tacky, cheap, tasteless from head to toe…smh
And you seem to be such an accomplished woman that it is really sad to see you looking like that. Your style screams hoodrat not lawyer! It’s time to buy less crap and invest in key quality pieces. Girl, you are a future lawyer!!! Not a future ghetto fabulous airhead mess!
Guess who need a stylist now for real? Chandia.

  19. Ummm…… ————————–> go that way. No seriously, I think she is a cute girl and love that she’s educated. But her fashion is just not okay. Some cute pieces but I don’t see one total look that is inspiring…and couple of the looks were just: WHAT.WERE.YOU.THINKING? I like the green dress and the leopard dress and the black jumpsuit minus the horrid heels.

  20. She has cute pieces but the mixing of them is what’s killing her and her hair and make-up is making her look old…Student, I thought she was much older…just tone it down and you will be ok, I think :(

  21. *CHUCKLES* These comments boy I tell you… Some of you guys need to intern for Joan Rivers ….

as for Ms. Chandi … the green dress is nice *Unsure voice* minus the glove.

BUT that BLUE OUFIT!!!!! LIKE …What the hell is is going on. Just entirely too much of NOTHIN going on.

  22. Anna:

ANYONE can make up a name and say they are CEO.

I am CEO, CFO and COO of ChandiThese Looks are Horrid Inc.

  23. I admire the fact that she is a young black educated woman atteding Law School. That’s more important than Fashion (IMO)!!!

I like the one shoulder dress and the green dress.

Best of Luck to you Chandia :)

Some of you folks are just so darn rude!!!!

  24. well she has a great body.. thats about it… it seems as if she has great items in a wardrobe but she needs some help putting them together..ughh..im kinda getting a headache.. she just need some editing.. and change the hair.. a bob would like nice on her. tone down the makeup… lol.. ok im done

  25. She is a cute young woman, after my own heart (Esq, and FL chica)… but her looks are hits a misses, some i love, some not so much…. :-/

  26. …you only point THREE fingers back at yourself…but I get your point ;)

Constructive criticism is better than an attack. Definitely. But I’ve seen worse on here.

The looks that work the best for her are: The leopard with the black vest, the all black catsuit and the brown and beige.

  27. And another thing…What’s up with that taacky ass blue outfit…she looks cheap!!! Okay im done being mean :)

  28. There is no need to look cheap even though your clothes are inexpensive. I’m not a fan of her looks. A lot of them look cheap. I do love the dress she has on in the first pic though.

  29. I don’t think she was bad per-se, just a bit too ‘trendy’. The animal print in almost every outfit was an overload. The green dress was nice but I think the main problem is that every outfit looks like something that she may have seen on a celebrity or in a video and tried to replicate as opposed to creating/wearing a style of her own and what suits her personality…just my opinion.

  30. Her style is definitely not BOLD to me she’s cute I like dat leopard dress number with those cute shoes but as far as pushin the limits of fashion she doesn’t do it for me.

  31. Ya’ll loose a*s b**thces! Give your opinion about her clothes, we don’t care if you don’t like her. I can see that these comments are from girls, because real women don’t behave like that, and it’s always the same internet gangster on here leaving comments. Because they know, that they can’t get there a*s whopped! Claire should really disable comments. Here I will show you how to leave a comment ( I don’t care for her fashion, it’s a little outdated, but her body is bangin!THERE YOU HAVE IT! Women don’t dress for men they dress for cut throat low self esteem hateful, WOMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can go on for days about the way we treat each other, but ya’ll not worth it. And those of you who keep changing you username, we know who your fake a*s is!

  32. I love some of the outfits, really nice! You take risks (from high heels and pink nails to doc martens? YEAH!) and I love most of the pieces, like the animal print fur-jacket… Don’t care about most of the comments here and just feel happy in your clothes :) It doesn’t hurt no one to see a happy person in life :) And i’m -like most here- applauding your diploma’s!

  33. And another thing, she not dressing ya’ll maybe some her clients like her style, how did ya’ll dumb broads manage to give critique on her job! When some of ya’ll commenting don’t even have a job. And then one of ya’ll had the nerve to say that you are done being mean! and then post another mean comment.

  34. I want everyone to just admit its the hair….. Lord help whoever made the wigs or sewed it in I don’t even want to think it may be glue (shutters at the thought). Fashion is the entire look hair, make up, accessories, and clothes. I just want to start with the hair :( This is just too much for one day.

  35. Amazing body. I like the green(ish) dress. I definitely don’t think it’s as bad as people are saying.

  36. Well some of the individual pieces are nice. Not feeling it exactly but I do like the second outfit. All the other pics there’s something off.

  37. @dcchic: Please you can express yourself in proper English without having to call other women the b-word. Chandia herself came back, accepted the criticism and remained very cordial and civil. Which shows class and humility, qualities you definitely need hun!…Women like you and Evelyn from BBW just can’t communicate without cursing…so sad! Time to go back to your vocabulary books sweetie!

  38. Nope. Sorry but her style is not ‘fashion forward’, nor is it current. Nothing personal but this website is about fashion. This is simply last seasons retail clothing. NEXT.

  39. She is very edgy indeed. But I think a fierce haircut would tie it all together. I see her vision!!! She’s very pretty too…Girl, lose the long hair and let your wig piece catch up with the rest of that fierceness!!!

  40. you look fab in the green dress. that should be a more frequent look for you than some of the other looks.

  41. I have never commented on a look before..but I had to this time around. First off this is Fashion BOmb daily..not educated girl daily…so it was irrelevant to point out how many degrees you have acquired. Secondly, I’m here to view a fashionable individual…unfortunately you are not that. I commend you for trying…but your outfits looks cheap..especially the shoes. Also, your looks are safe and too matchy matchy..and I agree with some of the other comments..these pics look very old. Sorry..do you… just not on Fashionbombdaily.com

  42. And Clair I do not know if you approve these bomb dailies before its posted..but if that is that case…I’m beginning to question your fashion sense..sorry I had to say something.

  43. I’m not feeling the look, but why the anger from those who dont? I see the comments but I also hear the underlying anger..it’s really interesting.

  44. LOL @ Randa questioning Claire’s (with an E) fashion sense. Boo boo when you are flying across the globe attending Fashion Week then you can step to Claire. When you are featured in Essence then you can step to Claire. Until then…I suggest you get a big glass of water to help you digest that Humble Pie you are eating. *drops the mic and exits stage*

  45. chandia, i like the green dress and you have a nice body.

you’d look better if you did something different with your hair.

i don’t like the rest of the outfits, i see what you were going for but you could do so much better, you smart, beautiful, and accomplished….your fashion/style should match that and right now it doesn’t to me.

@randa, i think the reason people are a little angry and getting touchy in here is because when you think of fashionbomb you expect a certain level of style and not to be rude chandia but claire should have known in advance what the tone of the comments would be when posting her pictures. i don’t know if this the fashionbomb is supposed to be a “an equal opportunity” thing where anybody can submit pictures but i think most people think that in order to be posted/reviewed as a “fashion bomb of the day” you style/fashion (whatever kind of style/fashion it is) should be a certain level.

that’s all i have to say.

  46. i usually just look to see what other people think but this is TERRIBLE.com…
    Her Hair…
idk, I do not get it at all…

  47. Thanks for sending in your pic, that was brave. I applaud you for starting your own image company, because everyone needs a little help in fashion. The problem with many of your outfits is that they are predictable. There was nothing that you had on that made me go WOW! that’s hawt! I would also spend a little more money on buying better quality pieces that don’t look so cheap in pictures. I also think you could step your weave game up. Weave isn’t suppose to look like weave. You’re cute girl, but there is still some work to do. Polish it up honey. Thanks for submiting!

  48. Good heavens – what do we have here – such unfavourable commnets.
She’s an educated lady – with a style of her own. I’m sure she feels well in her clothes. Not overly keen on her sense of fashion/style, but I’m sure she feels the same about mine.

  49. Saying you aint feeling her style is one thing but some people really take it too far. Seems like a case of how some people have to bring others down to feel good about themselves.
