Check out today’s Bombshell, Anisha from Lansing, Michigan:

She says, “I am an apparel merchandising major with a minor in marketing and will be attaining my bachelors at Eastern Michigan University.”

” As far as my style, I would say its classy and chic, fresh, and sophisticated…also vibrant and pretty.”

” I love cool patterns, fun and vibrant colors, and interesting details!”

” I like mixing bargain pieces with expensive pieces as well.”

” To me, fashion is how you carry and present yourself to the world; it’s your personality and expression through clothes!”

” A great outfit speaks when you walk in a room without you having to say a word.”

” It doesn’t matter how much the price tag is, but how you pull the look together to make it look great.”

Cute! I wish I could’ve seen more head-to-toe shots. Love that white shirt, mint pants combo (what I can see of it).
What do you think?

  1. cute girl but her style is wack! is this a joke? boring , matchy matchy, typical. were being punked again guys!

  2. ^^LOL! There’s something about those candid i phone shots that make me laugh! Cute girl, tho.

  3. am i the only one that just looks at those bottles of lotion on the counter in the white shirt/ mint green jeans shot????? like couldnt u crop it or smthing……

  4. I think she’s adorable! I would love to see her style blossom in the next few years. living in Ann Arbor will give her more of an edge. Shout out to my alma mater EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY!!!! YAY!

  5. I wish people would let other people take pictures of them for submission. I cant even see the outfits properly…:(

  6. me likes last pix the best…and shot out for not just sending club pix…your future awaits.

  7. Very promising. Really wish she had someone snap the pics or used a camera with a timer. Shoes are a big part of submissions. When you don’t show your shoes, me thinks you have a shameful shoe game worth hiding, lol. I would love to see her resubmit.

  8. BORING!

Perhaps she stands out in Michigan.

If she came to NYC….she would be totally lost in the shuffle.

Beautiful girl, with a great shape but she needs a better understanding of fashion and style is.

  9. Cute girl. Okay style, some boring outfits. Definitely not a bombshell. The white blouse and the mint pants looks like it had potential but alas, we can only see half of the outfit.

  10. wow…the comments are harsh….but im gonna have to agree…just okay really
    Blessings

  11. cute styles, but i wouldn’t say its bombshell worthy. It’s your typical everyday clothing; nothing that pops.

  12. Thanks everyone who commented! I know I have a lot of work in my style so I appreciate the criticism! I honestly should have cropped a few of the pictures (especially the one with the bottles) I know, I know. I would have put some better head to toe pics up!! I just wanted to try it out and show a little of my style! I would love to resubmit again in the future!

  13. I think she’s adorable! I love those peep toe bow pumps! and her response was super classy so she’s cool in my book. You’ll be fine Anisha and your style will evolve; it looks promising. Can’t wait for your next submission!

  14. I take a slight issue with many of the fashion/fashion merchandising majors that I am seeing as of lately. When I see that someone is studying fashion, the bar I set for them is slightly raised. What I am craving is the innovation and the creative take on the ART that is fashion. I personally feel many of these students are not leaving their best foot forward as these submissions are really their first set of imprints into their careers. I do not know if it has something to do with geographically where they are studying or not. However, I want to be wowed by what the students are learning and feel their excitement towards their craft, at whatever style(s) [and budgets] they are trying to convey. While she is a gorgeous girl these looks are basic, underwhelming, and almost forgettable.

  15. Amani, I appreciate your feedback! I do love and appreciate the art in fashion…its definitely a work in progress but to even be featured on here is wonderful to me because I’m getting feedback from people all around the country on what I can improve on and that to me shows and means a lot!

  16. Voted bombshell! No she doesn’t have the most innovative or eclectic style but she dresses well, understands patterns and fit and her style doesn’t seem forced like the style of many submitters. I’m sure her it will only enhance with age and exposure. Love the green shorts look & the tan black dress look. May want to think about accessorizing a bit more to amp it up.

  17. I think she looks very cute and polished. Her looks are chic and understated. When I was in college my look was a far cry from chic, it was jeans and tees all day. I think her style will evolve over the years and she’s definitely headed in the right direction. Keep it up!

  18. EMU in the building! She gets points attending my alma mater. She is really cute and i’m sure her style will develop even more over time.

  19. Simple, basic, looks like everyone else. Cute girl tho.
I do agree with her dressing very sophisticated… classy as well.

  20. People are killing me with this whole “boring” attitude. How much “inspiration” do you need??? She’s a young college student who, quite frankly, is dressing very cute on a college budget. Her looks are nice fitting and mostly conservative versus some of the young women who I see on social networking sites. Great job Anisha, like many others said as you get older your style will continue to evolve. And good luck on obtaining your degree!! :)

  21. @Anisha H. Where’d you get that Native American inspired blazer? Love that!

  22. @PrncessOfZmunda I got it from Forever 21!! It’s a printed cardigan, thank you!

  23. Ok, so her style isn’t as avant-garde (and frankly, tacky) as some Bombshells I’ve seen, but she’s a lovely girl with good taste. What distinguishes her outfits from others is that hers are *wearable*. As someone said earlier, she doesn’t look forced as others do sometimes. Anisha’s on the right track, for sure!

  24. Man, I can’t wait to resubmit lol…it will be 1000x better people, I promise that!
