  8. I follow her YT channel. I like her but she has by far THE WORST wigs ever… Which is weird because I know she could get plenty of good quality wigs for free… Her body is amazing. Stylis is ok, but bombshell tho

    FYI to all those detail oriented people…. Not every woman shaves their legs, some women love the hair on their legs. Stop looking for something negative all the time.

    She is a scam artist.

    She has a full time job in the military and a beauty blogger making money and getting free product from youtube but stays begging her subscribers for money. She said she needed money for beauty school, why not get a loan like everybody else?

    Then she tried to use the death of a friends family member to scam people out of more money. JACKIE IS A FRAUD. And no she is no bombshell. And her makeup skills arent that good either with them Tyrone Biggums nude lips.

  20. I love the fact that she’s Active duty Army but still cares about her off-duty appearance/looks, I’m in the Air Force and trust meeeee…..alot of military girls have NO style..You can tell they’re military and they just put no effort into their looks. …so I vote bombshell.

  21. ATTENTION!!!! THIS is what thick and curvy looks like. I’m sometimes irritated by the confusion.

    It’s hard not to vote bombshell when one knows how to dress for their shape and obviously takes care in their appearance. I voted bombshell because if I saw her walking down the street I’d be impressed.

    But lose the wig, you look so much better without it.

    If you’re a Leo like myself you’d know that we typically are very confident, and like walking into the room and being the center of attention (at least I do visually). My style is a reflection of this. THAT is what I was referencing sweetheart. ;-)

  40. I happen to know Jackie personally, and I think it’s lovely that you’ve featured her on your blog. She is the true definition of a “Bombshell”, both inside, and out. I happen to know for a FACT, that she did not and would not, scam anyone. I’m sorry that your blog had to be littered with bashing. :( Truly unfortunate that we as women can’t be better to each other in 2014. Breaks my heart really.

    To @steph and @fly_won – You really should obtain ALL of your facts and not believe the hype, before posting such hateful things. And you could not, because you are not close enough to this individual to do so. You are NOT informed, for one. Also, how do you know a loan was NOT obtained in addition to funds DONATED? You don’t. So in your humble, oh so humble, opinion, those who ask for help via DONATIONS, and are honest about where the money is going, are frauds? So every person on welfare, is a fraud? Everyone, on Go Fund Me, is a fraud. I’m assuming you’ve NEVER EVER asked for monetary help, yes? Not one dollar? You sound angry and what you’re saying is not at all factual. I’d hope that you’re more intelligent, and tolerable of others, than you’ve made yourself appear here. Even if you feel this way, this is not the TIME or PLACE to voice such ugly, misguided hatred. And to bring up lies about the deceased. Well that is just a whole new level of low.

    I hope you find more happiness within yourself, so that you don’t have to take inaccurate aim at others.

  41. hey still this donation thing was brought up , what was the money used for both @wellinformed Alysha @jackie didnt actually address where the money went or what it was used for. If you name is dragged into the mud its important to clear your name especially if its public money by being transparent and spelling out bit by bit where the money went. Both of your answers @jackie and @informed Alysha is sketchy at best. I dont know u and don’t know whats true but have been scammed by a so called charity organization. So these days i become weary when their is fraud allegations and no clear explanation is given. Thats a red sign to me. What i would have liked from jackie is to address @steph by saying go this website or this and check my records but nothing of that was offered.

  42. @alysha and @jackie, I contributed to the fund because I read about the possibility of it being a scam. A couple of people mentioned the fact that Jackie could have benefitted from military aid for its members. Jackie refuted the claim and claimed that her presence in the military is “complicated.” But in her introduction on fashionbombdaily, she claims to be serving in the military…..the excuses are very sketchy. Please elaborate.

    Thank you so much for not only your kind words and support but also for your support throughout our friendship and career.

    To everyone else addressing this (still) which is really beating a dead horse at this point – this is a blog about fashion. This really is not the time or the place to address your inaccurate views of my character and it’s most certainly not the place to disrespect someone who has passed away. All of the information on WHY I was asking for help with school in the first place, and WHERE the help I received went to has been addressed numerous times on YouTube, and my Facebook page, and on the donation site itself. I’m not sure why the “full time military” thing keeps getting thrown around but I am a Reservist. This means I drill on a monthly basis, that’s NOT the same thing as an active duty servicemember. Just to clear that up. All of the information you are seeking is THERE. But many of you people keep, and still insist on looking for controversy. I know enough about people to know that it really doesn’t matter if I explain, you people will believe whatever you want and I’m fine with that. But if you’re looking for controversy you will surely find it. At this point, we are reaching ladies.

    Since I have to break this down yet again – the donations I received not only helped me continue my education to later on do what I am doing today, but the amount of support was so superfluous (not only from my viewers but family members and friends that donated) that people still insisted on donating. Because of this I decided to give the remainder of what was collected to the family of my late friend who was also my roommate at the time. Let’s just say figuratively speaking, I was actually scamming people for money, what did you think I was using the money for? Have you EVER seen me in a pair of shoes or with a handbag that retailed for more than $50? You guys cannot be that simple minded with these accusations and theories, I mean no shade, but.

    Much of what I do professionally is quite PUBLIC, my family and friends donated to this fund. So for some of you to think that I would actually be stupid enough to do something like that and not fear getting caught or exposed by the people who actually mean the most to me is foolish. The fact that I am actually having to type of all of this on a fashion blog is foolish. The fact that many of you keep actually making up stories a year later (yet still following me on social media with all this disdain in your hearts) is foolish. As all hell. I don’t get why anyone would follow and/or entertain someone they did not like. This isn’t Lipstick Alley, please take that garbage there where it belongs. And please practice posting responsibly and think what if this were you before you come for someone not having any idea what you’re talking about. I’m just so glad this the backlash was minuscule compared to the amount of support and encouragement I got during that time because it wasn’t easy. I wouldn’t even wish that on any of you. What you eventually do in the dark will come to light, I’m not willing to put my reputation on the line for a quick come up. Karma is not very forgiving. Thank you and have a great day everyone!

  45. It’s really sad that we’re willing to overlook this vile comment someone made about my late friend in order to accuse someone else of fraud. It’s vile because some of these same people won’t give this a topic rest. Don’t bring up my friend unless you knew her, period. None of these people have facts and no receipts of all this scam talk. This says a lot more about the character of people talking all this trash, not mine. If some of you had to be a blogger for a day you would not make it, for there is always going to be that one person stirring up controversy just for their own entertainment.

    You guys cannot be so quick to believe every single thing you read on the internet.

All these long paragraph for nothing and just ranting but you are not addressing where the money went. Shame on you didn’t your mother teach you something you don’t begg people for money. What happended to hard work. So did you end up going to beauty school at least with people’s money . As for your friend what happens to life insurance to cover funeral expenses. Did you at least give her family the money . All this rant for nothing. I want to believe you but you just ranting and not giving a legit explanation. That’s what scam artist do, they are fast talkers and still say nothing relevant

  48. That’s one of the risks of contributing to a person’s (yes, even on YT) schooling–sounds like something only family/friends should do if Sallie Mae loans aren’t being taken out. Do you guys want textbook/tuition receipts?

    I’ve seen folks starting Kickstarters for school…I don’t donate unless I have a personal connection. Take out loans like everyone else and pay them off.

  51. Just an FYI for anyone interested Active Duty Military , National Guard and Reserve all pretty much offer the same education benefits. They will pay your tuition, but only to a cap, usually under $5000. After that, if you’ve been deployed you can use the GIBill, the yellow ribbon program. Additionally there are countless scholarships. It just depends on your situation, and the amount of your school.

  55. When asking for money. Make sure you got all your ducks in a row. People will research and put you in blast. My sister went to beauty school and she paid for it with her own money. She got a second job and when she was short she got a small loan.

I don’t know how this post got turned into this but I will say this…Jackie, as a you tuber with the amount of subscribers that you have garnered, I really don’t see how or why you feel the need to respond to any of the comments/accusations here. You know very well the pull of criticism and it’s kind of off-putting that you feel the need to respond. I’m not saying that because you’re used to attention both good and bad that you don’t have the right to defend yourself but to go comment for comment should be pretty beneath you. I’m sure you know that when you put yourself out there that people will always criticize. Not saying that it’s right, but that’s how it works. You don’t owe anyone an explanation. I’m sure that the people who follow you(I personally don’t, no shade just being honest) know you and wouldn’t let the comments made my a few people steer them.     I could live without all the extra and nasty and off topic commentary on here though. …especially when most of you all are complaining that she asked for donations for school when there’s a donation banner on this very website (look to the right of the page)..lol… Lots of people fundraise for different reasons. I love seeing other women succeed. Seems like most of you are mad not at the possibility of a scam, but because she actually has people out there supporting her and wanting to see her do well. And you would think some topics are off limits (death of a friend or family member) but I guess not…some of you aren’t getting enough hugs at home. Lets do better ladies

What you see is what you get she doesn’t put on a front and is not the type of person that would EVER think about scamming anybody. Jackie you are doing the damn thing baby!! I am proud of you!!
