  1. Lawwwd she is about to be snatched and dragged for filth in these comments. And I will be sitting perched like toucan right here for it all.

  2. *Dead* @ Anonymous’ comment
I heart Gaelle….She comes here every year for FFF Week. She’s Super cool, and sweet. Go girl!

  3. i already know how this post will go. but real talk, i actually like her style. 1/2 of her dresses were unique and totally fit well. (the red, african print, and blue tweed were my favs). the boot cut jeans and long skirt do her justice. not the biggest fan of the shoes, but hey.

  4. If I were into women, I’d totally love you more than music. You are beautiful and do not let another soul on this earth tell you otherwise. YES GAWD Mama!!!

  5. She has a great aura around her. pretty face and her love her hair. I was not wowed with the outfits.

  6. LMAO@ perched like a toucan!!! I can’t!!

Anywhoo, her pieces are very different and mesh well together. I like. Definitely bombshell material.

  7. Nice sense of style and i love the hair. No need to be “skinny” but you and your clothes would look (and feel) so much better even just 30-40 pounds lighter. Yes, love yourself in the process, but at least initiate the journey towards healthfulness.

Curves and/or a few extra pounds are one thing, unhealthy obesity is another. Sisters, we can do better. We deserve better.

  8. It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.

I concur with Heyyall! Clean fit, I like the grey dress outfit.

  9. Y’all bytches are trifling – how do you know her ankles are not like that becuase of a medical condition???? Ratchetarian asses! *On topic* I liked most of her outfits and her afro is everything!

  10. Well shoot she got some good fits! And actually manages to look bomb ass in the whites! TRES cute to me.

Nice fro too. You must be a good detangler. Im going to step my game up. <3

  11. I like how this person ASSumed because most of the comments tend to be negative that she would be treated the same way. She looks good.

  12. CUT IT OUT!!!!!! You guys need to stop with the Big girl pass…. put her outfits on someone who isn’t as heavy and that person would BE BASIC!

The white/red outfit were only thing i looked at twice. Her accessories are like from 2003 like for real…. and her shoes are the worse. I am pretty sure you can’t tell Gaelle NOTHING! because her confidence must be shooting thru the roof to even dare submitting to fashion bomb. However, love try again. There have been fashion bombshells submitted your size who have delivered FED Ex Style.

  13. AND YOU ARE FAR FROM CURVY!!!! Plus-size community needs to cut it out with this Modern day verbiage to describe their size. Please go back to the 90’s with BBW… BIG BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  14. LOVE IT! She is Great at what she does – there was only one outfit I wasn’t feeling but all the rest she does dress to impress!

    YES!

  15. She looks great! I think the hosiery was unnecessary. For me if you show a lot of arm you should show an equal amount of leg…Good job!

  16. Her shoe game was wack but I think due to her weight she cant manage a more restrictive -type shoe. Her hoisery is good b/c maybe her leg skin is not up to par. But overall her clothes r great and fit her well. She is very cute

  17. The positive i love that you dress for your body shape. Please lose weight, you are in Paris and have probably adopted bad habits there. Go back to our African ways of finding balance in everything we do including food. Obesity is not encouraged in Africa, it goes against our culture. Very pretty girl, i will be lying to you if i dont encourage you to lose weight and the fact that you are from senegenal im sure you have had this advice a thousand times. As you know as Africans we do not sugar coat things. Wish you the best. I appreciate your style.

  18. @Miss Africa

Seriously tho, STFU. This is not a health/fitness blog. You’re not her doctor, and you don’t know anything about her eating habits and fitness regiment. So stop giving unsolicited advice about those topics, as if you do.

    @topic

    hits and misses for me

  19. Clearly you don’t know nothing about Africa and especially not about Senegal (where i’m from). Keep your advice to yourself because you don’t even know her. All your assumptions are wrong. Jeez I can’t believe people like you. Talk about what you know

  20. Finding shoes in a variety is likely a challenge for Gaelle, styling her clothing…definitely not a problem. Back to the footwear: maybe something like the recent “Cool Online Find” for boot alternatives:

    http://fashionbombdaily.com/2013/10/20/cool-online-find-legglove-kay-dane/#comments

Pricey, but perhaps an option. Generally, booties may also be good style wise and climate wise!

Fav Fit: Tie between “Mama Africa” peplum two-piece & Winter Wonderland dress with jacket.

  21. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! STOP EATING! And I’m NOT here for the Political correctness! Her outfits were cheap, tacky and dated! I’ve seen big gals deliver it, first class, hunty, so there’s no excuse. Well her weight does prohibit her from certain styles but damn!!! Put the burger, fried chicken, collard greens DOWN! NOW! Nice hair…

  22. She is absolutely beautiful !! I can see her great personality in her pictures … U personally think we all dress like our personalities and her bright personality shows through her style ! Thumbs up!! Everything looks really great I must say …

  23. To Miss Africa,

I had no idea there was such a thing as an “African culture” (it’s a continent for God’ sake with different CULTURES and customs) and you obviously know NOTHING about Africa or Sénégal for that matter. Now for being african myself and having lived in Sénégal for over a decade I can tell you that even though it’s likely that Gaëlle have been told to lose weight, (because people HAVE to comment on matter that doesn’t concern them) in Sénégal her shape is actually very much appreciated! Now concerning your lack of knowledge concerning “African food” I don’t know where you’re from but the “African” food that I know is by far more unhealthy than French food so please do more research on that. You might have to go back to your country because it clearly seems like you haven’t been in a while or even ever! Now please keep your back ended advice to yourself. Who the hell are you to dare to comment on someone you don’t even know personal health? I’m so sick of people like you telling others to lose weight and thinking it’s ok because you think it’s the obvious thing to say! Just STFU already and care about your own life! You don’t even know her anyway so do you really think your opinion matter?
Gaëlle is here to showcase her fashion and I applaud her for having the courage to send her submission I know by that that she’s strong enough to not get affected by mean people like you.

To Gaëlle I know it must be hard to find good shoes options for big feet. You’re obviously not a shoe person and it’s fine but I feel like if you had a little more variety in your shoe game it would uplift your overall style tremendously! If fashion really is your passion and you want to look great H to T you have to work on that shoe game. Other than that you look great you just know how to dress your body and it’s FANTASTIC!

  24. She is truly a bombshell and im not saying it to say it! she finds clothing that flatters her shape and is very trendy! I love her Sengal outfit i always wanted to DIY one. The shoes are my only vice! I can only imagine her shoe struggle but she’s working it! GO HUNNITY!

  25. i must say at first i was like not really my style but i love her confidence and the fact she is from senegal such as i. but nonetheless you are beautiful dont let no one say you not. some of yall are really horrible though look at yourself before you judge smh

  26. So, definitely love the all white look. She is pretty good with styling even given her weight. Yes I said the “w” word. She needs to lose weight…asap.

  27. Such a baby doll! And she’s got that Soul glo!
T’es magnifique ! J’ai un faible pour la tenue en rouge, en blanc et celle avec le manteau bleu. Il y a un côté rétro que j’adore!

    Bombshell it is!
    :)

  28. I must say I’m a fan! I loved the earrings! Can believe you have more earrings than shoes. Loved the African wear. That peplum top with some jeans and cute pumps, I need it in my closet! I loved the gray dress with yellow detail around the waist.

  29. The moment I saw Gaelle’s picture I knew there would be some negative comments. My prediction had nothing to do with her style and everything to do with how cruel some of you can be. Some slim Jims act like they see something that no one else sees. Some of you act like plus size women get dressed in the dark and we have no clue of how our bodies look. Newsflash genius…….we know we’re fat. No one knows this woman’s personal story or journey. Since this is a fashion website, why even go there with your judgmental comments?

As for the leniency towards plus size women…….someone needs to balance the venom in these mean spirited comments out.

  30. She has some cute ‘fits. I like the teal and the red dress. Some of yall are going straight to hell for your comments. Folks get really bold behind a computer screen…hyper down clowns. Post your pics so you can get ripped apart. It takes more confidence than most of you possess to submit photos for public scrutiny.

  31. Wow, first love her style it’s well put together. It’s funny how when a bigger women sends her pick in I always know the comments go right to her weight. This is a fashion blog not a weight loss blog. I’m sure she goes to the doctor and see her self in the mirror. I’m sure she know she a big girl she doesn’t need people to tell her that. I don’t see comments telling skinny girls they need to gain weight. She is a grown women if and when she is ready I’m sure she’ll take the step to lose weight. People comments are so rude to make fun of someone you don’t know. The way some you talk you have to be a size skinny to look and dress nice. Put your picture up let us judge you like you are doing this lady.

  32. The 24-year-old English drips with Southern manners, pays due respect to stars on tour and then sets a high standard for himself. It helped, no doubt, watching college teammates Russell Henley win in his rookie debut on the PGA Tour, and Reed take on the world in winning a WGC at Doral.
