“I normally mix designer, high-street and vintage in my daily ensembles; trying to wear at least one statement accessory to pull my entire look together. For example, here I’m wearing: vintage + modern jewellery, a Fendi bag, Carven Flats and a Topshop Dress.”

“I try as much as possible to dress for my shape + height (I’m 5’11’). My weight has fluctuated through the years and I know that all trends do not suit my shape or taste.”

“In regards to fashion, I tend to ‘ball’ on a budget. I have a seasonal list and try to stick to a certain amount each year on shopping. I try as much as possible, to never pay full price for designers…unless of course I have to. I scored these YSL PomPom heels for a mere £70.00, I blog about how to find sale items from time to time.”

“I believe in quality over quantity.”
Aghogho from Maryland
” I tend to save for big items and guard against impulse buys. I’ve lost lots of money doing that and know the importance now of money management. Thus, I tend to repeat pieces a lot.”

“As I get older, I’m less concerned with trends and seek to buy timeless pieces that will stand the test of time and by God’s grace and be passed onto my future daughter. Now, if only I’d win the lottery so I could step up my bag game! *smile*”

  1. She has an excellent sense of proportion. Her wardrobe choices really do her height and her frame justice. It’s a breath of fresh air to see someone whose pants are at an appropriate length for their height and are cut in a way to flatter their figure. Fit aside, her sense of style is great, and she’s a beautiful woman. Bombshell!

  2. 1. She is beautiful. 2. That afro really got me wanting to big chop. 3. She is a bombshell for certain, I love it all!

  3. FINALLY, A bomb who does not rely on body cons and slutty attire to justify how fashionable she is. You are the bomb and represented well for Maryland. Classy, beautiful, fashionable AND natural. WERK! *snaps*

  4. overall I really love her style. I love the way she wore the mustard and green coat. The clothes are well put together and not ‘too much’. Love the way Aghogho wears that thick and beautiful afro consistently despite whatever she’s wearing. thumbs up!

  6. Love the African prints. Her style suits her, the coat love it…..love the natural hair splendid style!!!!!

  7. Bombshell. However, I’m mad at the LBD red tights and if that 2nd outfit was for work it’s two steps below business casual. If it was for a weekend jaunt, then it’s super cute. And, but for her hair! Great looks and VERY few misses from this Missy :)

  8. Very nice. Stylish and age appropriate. The hair looks great as well.

  9. *APPLAUSE* *STANDING OVATION* not only her style makes her the ultimate bombshell but her words of advice on spending saving and lifestyle. This is what I want to see more of!

“As I get older, I’m less concerned with trends and seek to buy timeless pieces that will stand the test of time and by God’s grace and be passed onto my future daughter. Now, if only I’d win the lottery so I could step up my bag game! *smile*”

  17. Thank you to all the positive feedback for the most part. As for the negative votes and comments, I am not surprised that everyone can’t appreciate classic and timeless styles, I’m used to it. In regards, to the natural hair comments, it’s not for everyone, but I know it’s my best accessory!!

Thanks Claire for posting this so fast, I didn’t think it would have been published so soon!

    Kindest Regards,
    Miss Sowho

  19. fantastic points altogether, you simply received a brand new
reader. What might you recommend in regards to your put up that you just made a few days in the past?

    Any sure?

  20. With havin so much content and articles do you ever
run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?

My site has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it appears
a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization.
Do you know any ways to help reduce content from being stolen?
    I’d genuinely appreciate it.

  21. First of all I would like to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if
you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts
prior to writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing
my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I truly do take
pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15
minutes are generally wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin.

Any ideas or tips? Appreciate it!
