  • Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Josephine Baker and other glamorous women of color from years gone by will appear in a coffee-table book set to release this summer. Created from a Tumblr called Vintage Black Glamour, the book features photos from 1900 to 1980, and is aimed at showing that Hollywood glamour wasn’t only restricted to women like Audrey Hepburn, Jean Harlow, and Grace Kelly. alexander mcqueen collaborates with puma

  • Alexander McQueen’s label McQ is teaming up with Puma on a collection entitled ‘PUMA x McQ due out August 1st.  Having worked together on shoes since 2005, there is speculation that the two brands will explore other avenues for this new collaboration.  “The mixing of sportswear with high fashion defines much of modern style, so it felt right to partner with a brand with such a strong history of designer collaborations,” said Andy Rogers, Alexander McQueen brand director.   • Grey Ant(pictured above on Rihanna), Wes Gordon, And Tanya Taylor were among the ten finalists named last night for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund process. The ten are up for a top prize of $300,000 and two runners-up prizes of $100,000 each. Like last year, the judging process will be aired as a series on TV via the Ovation network. (The Cut)


  • Rent the Runway is launching a new service that allows customers to rent three accessories at a time and swap them out for new ones at their leisure. Dubbed Rent The Runway Unlimited, the service costs $75 a month and boasts names like Balenciaga, Moschino, Pamela Love and Clare Vivier. (Fashionista)
