The Fashion Bomb News Breakdown: Costume Institute Renamed After Anna Wintour, Kanye West Pleads For A Kim Kardashian Vogue Cover, and A First Look at Rita Ora for Adidas

• Much like Diddy (formerly P.Diddy, Puffy, and Puff Daddy) The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Instute wing is getting a name change. And whose namesake might those hallowed halls bear? None other than Anna Wintour‘s! Solidifying her role as industry overlord, the Costume Institute will now be known as the Anna Wintour Costume Center. The curatorial department will still go by its original name. There’s no question Ms. Wintour is deserving of such an honor. She’s a trustee of the museum, has co-chaired 15 benefits for the Costume Institute since 1995, and has raised about $125 million for the Met over the years. Congrats to Anna! (WWD)

• Editors, buyers, and bloggers are going to have to put in extra work to get to Alexander Wang‘s Fall 2014 show on time this season, as the designer has announced that he will hold his runway presentation at Duggal Greenhouse at 63 Ship Ways Avenue–right around the corner from the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Wang says this is a one-time location change, adding that the venue “corresponds very well to this season’s creative concept.” (WWD)

Rita Ora x Adidas Preview

• The endorsements just keep rolling in for Rita Ora. She’s already fronted campaigns for DKNY and Madonna‘s Material Girl line, and working on a lipstick and nail color line for Rimmel London. Now, the crooner can add “athleticwear designer” to her list of accolades, as she’s teamed with Adidas on a collection, which we finally got a first look at yesterday. She posted two snaps of a pair of white kicks from the upcoming collection, which have a rosegold capped toe. Are you feeling the shoes? (Rita Ora Facebook)

Chanel Iman Teen Vogue Intern

• In what is the largest intern settlement to date, Elite Model Management has agreed to dole out $450,000 to over 100 unpaid interns who sued the company for having to work over 40 hour weeks with no pay. Each intern will receive at least $700 in compensation. (Vogue UK)

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Attend The Kardashian Christmas Bash

Kanye West is still in hot pursuit of that Kim Kardashian Vogue cover. According to Page Six, the rapper was spied lunching with Anna Wintour at the Polo Lounge at the Bevery Hills Hotel on Friday. “They were in a corner booth, very intense,” a source said. “He was talking nonstop. She did not get a word in edgewise.” If only someone would petition this hard for that Kerry Washington Vogue cover we’ve been waiting on for about a billion years… (Page Six)
