    • In spite of the racial profiling hullabaloo, it looks like Jay Z‘s Barney‘s collaboration was a huge success. The New York Daily News says the collaboration amassed over $1 million and counting in profits. After Jigga was called out for continuing his relationship with Barneys in light of the shop-and-frisk incidents at the retailer’s flagship store, he pledged that 100% of the proceeds would go to The Shawn Carter Foundation, which helps gives underprivileged youth scholarships for higher education. Sounds like they raised a pretty penny! (NYDN)

Gwen Stefani and Seven for All Mankind cofounder Michael Glasser are rethinking pants with their new line DWP, which will produce a range of five-pocket trouser options. The 18-piece range boasts  slouchy, loose, slightly cropped silhouettes rendered in different materials. You will find the DWP take on the Kanye West-invented leather jogging pant, silken trousers, and more. The line will also offer a selection of tops, as well as a jumpsuit and a dress to “fill in the gaps,” according to Stefani. You can expect DWP to hit stores this spring. (WWD)

Diane Von Furstenberg and Michael Kors are leaving the tents behind, to show their Fall 2014 collections at Spring Studios at 50 Varick Street in TriBeCa this upcoming Fashion Week. According to WWD, DVF’s show will be held Feb. 9 at 5 p.m, with Kors’s on Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. Reps for DVF and Kors did not comment. Vera Wang, on the other hand, has confirmed that she will be holding her show at the Dia Center for the Arts in Chelsea on Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. (WWD)

    SJP Shoes

Lucky magazine’s got a first look at Sarah Jessica Parker‘s much-anticipated SJP shoe line. So far, the range has only been seen by a select few editors, but the latest issue of Lucky magazine has a snap of an asymmetrical-strap Mary Jane pump, (similar to one Carrie Bradshaw fell in love with in the Vogue closet) that retails for $365. The line itself is priced between $200 and $400 and will be in Nordstrom stores come February. Cute! I’m interested to see the full range! (Racked)

    • Just when I thought there was no reason to watch the Superbowl this year… not only will we be blessed with a brand spanking new commercial for David Beckham‘s H&M underwear line, but Samsung Smart TV owners will be able to shop the collection right on the telly. Yup! No need to grab your tablet or hustle to the nearest H&M location. You’ll be able to purchase all the men’s underwear you like from the comfort of your couch. We recently added a Smart TV to my apartment (it is awesome). Think I’ll try it and let you guys know how well it works! Now, to find a man to buy boxer briefs for… (ELLE UK)

    Borrow Mini Couture

    • Now there’s a Rent-The-Runway for wee ones. Borrow Mini Couture is a service that allows parents to rent fancy designer formalwear for their kids, 9 months to four years old. In a way, it makes perfect sense: what parent wants to shill out top dollar for clothes their children will only wear for special occasions… and will likely grow out of before they get to wear them again? Also: who wants to foot the dry cleaning bill on that one?  The website carries kiddie couture from names Chloé,  Fendi, Stella McCartney, and more. A Dior dress for a toddler priced at $517 can be rented for a mere $99. Pricey, yes, but still a lot less in comparison.  The clothes are insured, keeping in mind the stains a child might run into. Would you rent a designer outfit for your child? (The Cut)
