• Are there wedding bells in Chanel Iman and A$AP Rocky‘s future? According to the rumor mill, there are. Peaches Geldof

Peaches Geldof, model, TV personality, socialite, and second daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates was found dead in her home in Wrotham, Kent, England that she shared with husband Thomas Cohen and sons Astala and Phaedra. The cause of Peaches’ tragic death is still unknown. Police responded earlier to a call in concern of the welfare of a young woman. When authorities arrived on the scene, they realized it was Ms. Geldof who was in trouble. “At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden,” Kent police said in a statement. Peaches’ father, Bob Geldof, has already released a statement about the heartbreaking death of his young daughter.  “Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.” (Grazia)

Marc Jacobs Rober Duffy 2011 Costume Institute Met Gala
• The fellas will be forced to up their fashion game at this year’s Met Gala, thanks to the white tie dress code just implemented for the affair. The new standard is decidedly at odds with last year’s rebellious punk theme, but considering that this year’s exhibit will feature the work of legendary couturier Charles James, it makes sense that the guys would be required to step their game up. What does white tie entail exactly? A black jacket with tails, a waistcoat, wing collared shirt and tie, and of course, a top hat. Can’t wait to see how/if the guys show out this year!  (WWD)

david beckham bodywear for h&m

• By now, we can all pretty much agree that David Beckham can sell anything. I mean, just look at him. That’s the face and body of the Abominable Snowman’s ice dealer, people. The retired footballer already has a few projects under his belt–a partnership with Adidas, a fragrance, and a collaboration with Belstaff–not to mention his wildly successful bodywear line for men and boys at H&M. But it seems even these aren’t enough to keep him busy. According to WWD, Beckham is shopping a casual activewear line, and has already had a few meetings with Li & Fung on taking on the project. Of course, reps at Li & Fung declined to comment, but I don’t doubt that a Beckham-backed athletic label would do pre-tay well. (WWD)

Miley Cyrus ELLE May 2014

• You’ll be seeing Miley Cyrus on two Hearst titles this month. ELLE just unveiled their cover, featuring the Marc Jacobs-clad “Wrecking Ball” singer, and Miley’s also supposed to appear on Seventeen as well–although Ms. Cyrus might not be too pleased about it. WWD reports that the two Hearst titles were duking it out for a chance to get Cyrus on their respective covers, but Miley’s people turned down the Seventeen offer in favor of ELLE. That, apparently, isn’t stopping Seventeen from having their cake and eating it too. The mag is set to roll out their Miley issue with or without the go-ahead. Apparently, they used stock imagery and included a “write-around” for the cover story. But why go through all the trouble? Because Miley’s a top seller for mags, especially for Seventeen“Seventeen readers love Miley Cyrus, and we cover her every chance we get,” a Seventeen spokesperson told WWD. “She ranked high on the March issue’s Girl Power List. Our readers asked for more, so we responded as quickly as possible. Miley’s currently on tour promoting ‘Bangerz,’ so what better time than now to celebrate her and give our readers what they want.” Indeed. We’ll be perched waiting to see if there is any backlash from Miley’s people for the Seventeen issue. (WWD)

Kate Moss 2003 yellow dress

Kate Moss chatted about the forthcoming relaunch of her Topshop collaboration with the Sunday Times Style supplement to the UK Telegraph.  And bad news if you were looking for a crop of Moss’s famous daisy dresses, because you won’t find them in this collection. “I loved those daisy dresses and they were really successful, but I didn’t think it was part of what I would do now. I’m more… sophisticated,”she said. However, Moss is bringing back a version of a pastel yellow dress she wore in 2003, and appeared amongst her Topshop offerings in 2007. This version looks more like the original frock, and will retail for about £85 ,or $141 dollars at current exchange. (Telegraph)
