The producer’s textile company, Bionic Yarn, (which makes fabric from plastic debris found in the ocean) a part of this project. “It’s my line so it comes from my heart and mind,” he said. “I’m taking this very seriously. [It’s for] basically everyone. [I’m] not doing this for any specific demographic; I hate being put in a category anyway.”  Williams wouldn’t divulge much else about the collab, but I’m sure it will be nothing short of dope! kim-kardashian-kanye-west-vogue-magazine-april-2014 • Kim and Kanye are in demand, ya’ll. WWD reports that the pair were also being courted by Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair to appear on their respective covers, but Vogue triumphed in the end. Apparently, Kim was in serious talks with Bazaar at first, but things fell through as editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey pushed for a close-up shot of the then-pregnant reality star, because she thought Kim looked “too overweight” at the time for a long shot. The mag would have tapped Terry Richardson to lens the cover, but the photographer’s dubious reputation gave Kim pause. Plus, Richardson had just shot her Kardashian Kollection campaign, and she wanted to work with someone else. This opened things up for Vanity Fair, but they couldn’t figure out if they actually wanted Kim on the cover or not. That left the ball in Vogue‘s court, and now… well, we’ve got Anna to thank for the media firestorm that we’ve been dealing with this past week. (WWD)
