• Fall 2012 Style Inspiration: Animal Instinct

Though I’m more of a classic girl, I simply can’t get enough of animal prints! From snake to leopard to zebra stripes, it’s the way I add a bit of pizzazz to more subdued ensembles.
For Fall 2012, embrace animal prints by way of shoes, dresses, or patterned shifts.
I cooked up two splurges and two steals, so Bombshells at any budget can dip on in:

Look 1 is all about snake particularly Tom Ford’s $2,980 Anaconda over-the-knee boots (try to stop drooling). I played them down with a snuggly Lanvin cashmere dress, Gucci stirrup top handle bag, and kept the theme going with square reptile earrings:

In the mood for a little leopard? I don’t know about you, but I’m in love with Roberto Cavalli’s $875 Brown Leopard Print Dress:

Slip on a Phillip Plein lamb leather fur jacket for warmth and complete with leopard diamante stud earrings (get them here):

Like the heels? Get ’em at Colette.

Those without gold bars under their bed can adopt the reptile and snake trends as well!

Topshop’s Animal Print Skater dress embraces the look, and at $72 won’t break the bank.

Offset the print with a $100 trench from Mango, along with pops of Burgundy from Miss Selfridge’s.

And lastly, if snake is more your bag, get into the game with a pair of snake print jeans, like these Paradise Pink Options by Supertrash (they’re a steal at $39).

Complement them with a gray turtleneck and a $37 gray woolen jacket from InDressMe. Pull on a pair of knee high boots and a knit turban for added umph:

Would you wear any of the above?
    Stay tuned for more!
