I recently learned about a new Atlanta based line called Mo’Accha Mode Inc:
Started by Georgia native Ramaiseya Parham, the brand’s Fall 2010 “Timeless” collection, features jumpsuits, dresses, and blazers in black and white graphic prints that can be incorporated easily into your wardrobe:
With asymmetric zippers and tops with cut-outs, it seems Parham is carving out a signature style. Stay tuned for the Spring/Summer collection, which will debut this fall.What do you think of the line?

Today I wanted to quickly introduce you to designer and stylist, Juan Vargas:
The 24-year-old Brooklyn native (center) is the designer for Vanessa and Angela Simmons‘ Pastry line as well as for his own eponymous line.
He also styles for W Korea, Vogue Espana and Vanidads.
How did he get such a cool job? He says, “I went to the High School of Fashion Industries and then went on to the Fashion Institute of Technology. Vanessa and Angela are friends and boos from way back! We met in high school when I asked Angela to model in one of my fashion shows.”
“I began designing things for her, and I did Vanessa and Angela’s hair and makeup for the MTV Awards. After that our bond grew.”

With his fashionable eye I had to ask him about his summer must haves. He said, “For me, I love the Givenchy nightingale bag, brown boots from All Saints, a khaki blazer, and Christian Louboutin studded sneakers in black.”For the ladies, he recommends, “One pair of Christian Louboutins, a great, flattering party dress, chic sandals, a great bag by YSL, Alexander Wang, or another big designer, and a sexy scent like Chanel.”

New Designer Spotlight: naKIMuli
Hey Guys!
Today I wanted to introduce you to a new Brooklyn based line called naKIMuli:
naKIMuli, which is Ugandan for flower, is a line of African inspired ready to wear pieces by Tennille Nakimuli McMillan.
Her most recent collection called, “Lock U Up In Luv For Days,” was inspired by summer love in Brooklyn.
She explains, “I wanted to capture the feeling of a spring fling; of meeting that special someone in Fort Greene Park and spending the spring days and evenings with him. Getting to know him. Enjoying the weather. And wearing outfits that would make you feel young and fun and flirty.”
While I love all the print dresses, my favorite from the collection would have to be this black asymetrical number with a thick braided strap:
It’s different, it’s funky, and super hot!
