Excuse my French, but Rita Ora is in Fraance, making her rounds at the Cannes Film Festival. The ‘RIP’ singer performed at the ‘Grand Journal’ in a dress from Moschino Cheap & Chic‘s Fall 2012 collection. For reasons unbeknownst to man, she chose to ruin what could have been a perfectly cute outfit with a pair of (womp) Jordan 3′s.

Her dress debuted on the runway with a high collar and the ruffle detailing at the back. I rather like Rita’s modified version. It looks like they turned the dress around and opened up the back seam. The open neckline and front ruffle make the dress more wearable, especially for ladies with larger busts.

I am trying my hardest to look past those sneakers. Normally, I would never deny a pair of Jordans. They’re a classic shoe, a cultural fixture, and a wardrobe staple for many Americans. I understand her aesthetic is kind of punky and gritty, but would it have been so wrong for her to put on a heel?
