Last night I headed out to a party for the new limited edition Patricia Field for MCM collection at the stylist’s home in New York City. The collection hits select Saks Fifth Avenue stores and Patrica Field’s Bowery store today!
Having viewed the bags in person, I have to say they are just too cute! I’m loving this mini bag long time:
Of the collection Field told ELLE.com “I used the classic MCM designs as my starting point—I wanted to keep the logo and workmanship—but I wanted to switch out the textile and make the bags lighter“.
The bags are done in leather and canvas with hardware detailing in army green, cognac and black. The freeform sketch of a Pat Field-esque woman superimposed on each bag is by MCM designer Martine. Love it.

And while taking in the collection, I tip-toed over to Field to snap a picture. Too bad my camera had to hate on my moment…
