  1. The design of this salon is simply awesome…but I must say my experience was horrible!! Despite their “no gossip” clause they gossip so much it made me uncomfortable and anxious to get out of there!! They have very negative atmosphere..ad they completely reaffirm that you can’t always judge a book by its cover!

  2. really really cute!
I love the mix of drama && industrial
its very unique. props for that!
but the above statement? hmmmm…. if she’s telling the truth, you might wanna go back to the drawing board because customer service will always eventually outshine a fabulous apperance.

  3. Did u tell management? I have to object! I have been going to the salon since they opened and was there on the first day when we did vision boards with the stylist & I enjoyed it. They gave us free boards & the exercise was really positive. The salon is beautiful!!! Whoever designed it did an awesome job. I have been to almost every salon in Atlanta and the customer service has never matched the service & style I got @ Glambar. Shame on you for hating, I heard the owner state that we have got to stick togther. Take her advise!

  4. Barbie is my stylist, I have been going to her for over 10 years. I love the salon & I love the cupcakes. I seen the comment above. Who did your hair? Did you like your hair? Try Barbie she does mine.Go Glam Bar!

  5. Yeah, try Barbie. I’m natural & when she moved from Atl I was going to the dominicans. She is better to me! She grew my hair out and gave me more style. I looked like everybody else when I was going to the dominicans…

  6. Dear TaTa,

I just was told by one of our clients that you had a not so glam experience. I would like to 1st say to you I apologize. I wish you would have contacted me. I’m in business in the real world & you have good days & you have bad days. I know for sure that the good outweight the bad. I’m sure that you have bad & good days. The only thing u can do is pray that u embrace & grow from both. Thanks 4 the input The Glam Bar will embrace & grow from ur input. As you know it’s a salon! It’s the only salon & 1st salon w/ a no gossip clause. When u are the 1st & only it takes time for your vision to come into play. As far as negative energy, I space clear everytime I’m there I burn Frankincense & keep sea salt @ the doors. The design I did it myself & actually lost my child to miscarriage from all the hard work I put in it. So in closing, I appreciate ur view! I will address ur issues w/ all. But if ur intentions today weren’t negative & u wanted ur experience 2 be 1 that would make things better you should have contacted me. Be Blessed! My blessing is that whatever u seen will never happen again. That was a bad day, I deem today as good. Oh by the way my due date was surposed to be August 7th. So u making my salon better I consider a gift from my baby I lost. Ladies, we have got to stick together!!! xoxo Growth Is Glam!

  7. wow! i’m excited about the glambar and impressed by sabrina’s statement. but one thing, the link to the website isn’t working. is it just me?

  8. Lets make this clear to all it’s one thing to have a salon its another to know how to run it. Itas now October i i do see not one comment has been posted since aug. so take this as an update 1st Barbie is no longer at the glam bar after her and Sabrina the owner got into it because Sabrina has no class and decides she wants to fight in front of her sshop how tacky is that ud think she got enough when she put on papers for punching the dream the owner of the clothing store next door. i was also there the first day the shop opened and keep in mind the only person that still works there from the openin date to now is willy and that cuz he and her are so called bestfriends and she lets him have a chair without a licences speaking of she has no licences on the place for that matter wich leads to another story why Barbie is’nt there and Sabrina stop playin on dez people emotions pregnat no way if u had a due date u at least wud have a a pudge or even been out sick due to ur so called miscarrage Tata u were havin a good day that shop dose give off bad vibes and it starts with the owner to sum it all up ladies find another spot to get ur hair done glam bar is a no no but Sabrina has had much experiance on the pole if ur interested in the pole dancing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. DAMN is Glambar bad like that i might have to shop around midtown for the new place

  10. the glambar is very femme. i love willi. i kno i’m leaving feeling fabulous. i love the fact tht he takes his time and her make sure u r looking fab. heis the pressing queen and a great extension specialist. he is the glambar. u gotta love the glambar

  11. Hmm..Sabrina is a strong woman and may have been through some things but she condemned me for not lying for her in court basically……i learned alot from her about how not to be false and righteous. K-rock was the only Stylistin the whole salon who saw her for what she was and took me under his wing when she fired me in a very rough time in my life!!! It is now a year later and i see her salon has closed and she has warrants out!…im so happy to leave this message here because one day she will hate that she treated so many with so much disregard..especially those who wanted to serve her and her misssion….lmao…….how is that i hear about her wicked and ghetto attitude all the way from california..it’s sad. and yes the GLAM BAR WAS NEGATIVE…..—GOTTI

  12. Awwwwwwe, I dont know anything about this salon or the owner but somethings should just be kept to yourself and your God. Come on guys if she that bad she will pay.

  13. Can someone please post an update about the glam bar? I have an up coming appointment with Zara. How is the quality of the salon. The reviews are scaring me.

  14. The glambar is a circus. The owner with the blonde hair is the most ghetto and ignorant person i ever seen in my life. I heard before hand all the negative talk about the glambar but was approched by a stylist that was promoting his self and thought i’ll give it a try. Only to see the end result. My hair looked better when i walked in the door of the salon. They don’t know what the HELL their doing. I don’t know if it’s from the hookah sticks or liqour or all the chemicals combine but one thing is clear that would the first and last time!!! I also was told by a customer not to use your credit card to pay your bill they take the cc# and apply additional charges…… Look around maybe you purchased something?

  16. Sabrina did my best friend really wrong.she takes the stylist money (week in the whole) so to speak deal . Trust me more like pay me for the whole week you worked so I can stack more shit in the salon . But these stylist don’t see how their being pimped including my friend. In this recession she playing with someone money .Really??? Huh better you than me. Cuzzzzz babbby! That would be her ASS! With your friends logging on to blogs approving this bullshit. Sabrina has had at least 50 employees.

  17. I heard about the salon through Twitter & thought I’d give it a try. I stopped by that evening & was told I would have to pay ” after hours fee” so I made an appointment w/ a young lady named Ming Lee for the following morning. Of course she was about an hr late, but I didn’t stress it. She did a sew in/color for me, I paid almost $300. I get home & notice that my hair was noticebly uneven in the back. I returned to the shop maybe two days later & explained everything & I also brought my receipt along just in case, only to be told that Ming Lee no longer worked there & that I would have to pay to have it corrected. I believe the girls name was Erin? I told her I would not be paying after I just spent 300 for a lopsided weave. She eventually corrected it , but had the nerve to say I could had slid her something… I never returned & this was almost 2yrs ago
