Basically I am trying to be more financially responsible, and am starting this summer by cutting back on splurges, allowing myself $1,000 a month for clothes. I’m keeping costs low–and one of the items I’ve purchased thus far is Zara’s $70 fringed skirt.
The double layered skirt has a side zip.
I’ll be honest, this purchase was partly inspired by recent Bombshell Glency from the Dominican Republic.
Black is more neutral, and can work with most things in my wardrobe.

Claire….. $12,000 a year on clothes? I am not counting your coins, I don’t know what your bank account looks like, but if that is cutting back then Damn. I get it you don’t have a car or kids or mortgage but… Damn! Are clothes that serious, even for a fashion blogger?
@Chelli yes, as a fashion blogger and editor, clothes are that important. Image is everything. And the investment pays off…
I would wager that for any job, you should dress for the position you aspire to have (within reason). People notice. Especially in fashion!
