While on twitter I came across a tweet from Solange where she says, “Green lipstick: check, Orange war stripe: check, happy face pin: check! Now I’m ready 4 war. U may not b ready.”

Um, she’s right! Are we ready for her green lipstick?

Solange is a gorgeous girl and can pull off most anything…but this?!?

For lipstick, I tend to go with browns and creams…Oh Baby is the bomb! I used to get down with blue shimmery gloss in junior high, but color time is over for the lips (save an occasional red). What about you?

  3. she looks bad, the whole get up..shes trying too hard…i just think of the little oompa loompa men from willy wonka…this is a case where your friends are supposed to let you know HENNY mmmmm….granted she has been on lately with her style, but this eh eh eh(in a nigerian accent)

  7. I like that she defines her own style. I think she pulls off the lipstick if one goes for an edgier look.

  11. I don’t like it at all. Maybe for a photo shoot or something, but not just on the reg. I can tell you she will not create a trend with this one. I like her style but let’s no go overboard. I bet her teeth look yellow. Lipsticks with greenish or blueish under tones tend to make your teeth look yellow..definately a hmmm.

It must be hard being Solange: She’s a plain woman, in a family of very attractive women, she’s not particularly talented and so she’s not a spectacular performer like her sister and she doesn’t look like a born fashionista, she just always looks like she’s desperately trying to appear eccentric and different.

  19. i love the fact she is who is she is…so if she loves it then cool…..however i would have liked it any color than he green possibly a purple even turquoise..or perhaps anoher shade.. i heart the outfit though!
