We love when new makeup collaborations are released. Of course was no different when Milk Makeup announced their collaboration with Wu Tang Clan.

Milk Makeup was created in NYC and Wu-Tang Clan is a hip hop group from NYC. It is only right that these two partner to create magic. Milk calls it “a legendary collaboration between two iconic New York forces providing you ritual armor for self-expression.

When it came to marketing the product, it was genius to feature NYC native Teyana Taylor. Taylor has proven that when it comes to needing that perfect feature to show of a product, that she is the right woman for the job. Especially when it includes any form of choreography, because we have witnessed the level of skill that she displays when it comes to pulling off routines.

The collaboration is a limited edition collection of 8 luxe lip colors. “It balances sacred Chinese ingredients with high-payoff colors” according to Milk. The lip colors were named after the eight earthly elements of the I Ching Trigrams. The colors included are Chi (high shine red), Sacred (rose gold glitter), Fire (matte orange red), Flow (high shine rosy beige), Frequency (purple glitter), Source (high shine burgundy), Cypher (high shine brown), and Ruckus (high Shine hot pink). All of the products are vegan free, as are all Milk Makeup products. However, for this collection they added some Chinese inspired ingredients.
