Though I am not the quintessential girly girl, I indeed have my moments when pinks, frills, and bows reign supreme. Femininity has always been intrinsic to the house of Dior, where the female form has been appreciated and glorified for well over half a century. As one of the brand’s signature motifs, The Fontages Bow has served as the inspiration for the Spring 2013 Cherie Bow collection, chock full of girlish delights playing with the season’s pastels and rosy hues.
The Bow Palette takes on the iconic bow shape, reworked by Dior’s jewelry designer Camille Miceli. It features a black eyeliner, rosy pink lip gloss, and three eyeshadows in pink, icy grey, and charcoal for a fresh yet powerful look. The nail lacquers come in very functional shades with playful names including Rosy Bow and Tutu. Clearly, the beauty look for the season will be all about a demure and refreshing palette.
These shades will definitely be a great way to look effortlessly beautiful for the season and will provide the perfect complements to the fun prints and colorblocking that are among Spring’s trends.
The collection will retail for $24 – $80. Keep your eyes on www.dior.com to get your hands on these styles when they become available in the coming months.
