Ready for the latest accoutrements from Céline? The French fashion house has all of its Fall 2013 pieces ready for public ogling, with seasonal spins on its most classic silhouettes including the coveted Trapeze and Cabas totes. In a rich autumnal palette, Phoebe Philo has done it again: it being creating an array of designs that will have the world’s most stylish chomping at the bit to get their hands on and feet into the brand’s newest accessories.
Exotic skins play on handbags and ankle-strap sandals, clearly demonstrating the Céline woman’s taste for luxury.
Fall-perfect textures including suede, pony hair, and shearling are also on display, uplifting flap bags, roomy leather totes, and slip-on sneakers that would be rather simple otherwise.
Philo throws in a bit of two-tone detailing and colorblocking for good measure, showing that neither trend is showing signs of disappearing.
Céline has always excelled at simplicity and the more pared-down designs here are the most notable. Spacious carryalls in neutral hues, television screen-inspired sunglasses boasting the brand’s three metal stud signature, the basic ankle-strap pumps that have become something like wardrobe essentials for the world’s most fashionable in the past year: more isn’t always best, as the minimalist woman who gravitates toward the fashion house’s designs has recognized sometime ago.
