7 Up and Coming Black Models You Should Know

The Diversity Coaltion certainly made an impact this season, as runways appeared to have a bit more color this go round. Houses that were lambasted for not using black models–including Céline, Calvin Klein, and Prada–diversified their ranks, adding more than a few fresh faces for our viewing pleasure. Aside from the obvious players like Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, and Jasmine Tookes, these 7 young ladies snagged gigs with some of fashion’s heaviest hitters, and looked flawless while doing so.
Take a look at a small selection:
1. Grace Mahary

Beautiful work, ladies! And it’s nice to see which designers actually responded to the Diversity Coalition’s plea for more brown faces.
