Well, the weekend is done, and so are the Labor Day Weekend celebrations. #deepsigh But it doesn’t mean the fashion fun stops there. Celebs were out and about over the weekend – getting hitched, shopping and taking the Labor Day Weekend bull by the horns. But who was dressed to kill and who barely nicked us with some serious fashion game? Hmm… let’s take a look!
First up are Gabrielle Union-Wade and Dwyane Wade, who just celebrated their nuptials over the weekend with friends and family. The gorgeous bride walked down the aisle in a beautiful Dennis Basso wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline. Though not as elaborate as wedding gowns we’ve seen lately, this one suits her to a t – simple yet elegant. Groom Dwyane Wade wanted us to know that it was his day too, as he and his sons were outfitted in DSquared2.
Funny man Kevin Hart had his lovely fiancee take a snapshot of him during Gabby and Dwyane’s wedding. Casket sharp, the comedian suited up in Tom Ford. He looked dapper beyond belief, but hmm… I just wish he didn’t wear all black to a summer wedding. But I have to admit, he can add style savant to his extensive résumé.
Singer Ashanti took the party to New York City on the weekend. Clearly having a grand time, Ashanti wore a Lublu Kira Plastinina dress and $1,230 Alexander McQueen scale chain sandals. Cute look, but hmm… not on board with wearing sunglasses, at night, in the club.
Over at the Made in America festival, Beyonce and Solange were papped having a sisterly moment. Can we get into the Flawlessness of Bey’s Helmut Lang skirt, crop top, and Giuseppe Zanotti studded sandals? Hot!
Winonah De Jong is never camera shy when she’s dressed to the nine’s. The footballer’s wife and style crusader looked lovely at the Tiffany’s T Collection presented by Dutch L’Officiel Magazine. She wore a Current/Elliot denim shirt, a $502 Fausto Puglisi mini-skirt, $1,100 Gianvito Rossi lace-up sandals and a Chanel purse. I love how she always looks on trend, but still so effortless. Hot!
The oh-so-fashionable Anna Dello Russo was spotted shopping in Milan (most likely for imminent fashion month happenings) while wearing a $5,094 Valentino silk embroidered dress, Céline shoes and a $4,250 Saint Laurent “Emmanuelle” studded fringe bucket purse. It’s such a funky mix of patterns, but it works for her…as it usually does.
And last, but not least, is Lilly Ghalichi, who wore a look from her own boutique, Want My Look.com, for Memorial Day fun. She looked gorgeous in her navy “Tara” set for only $30! A huge fan of high-low outfit co-ordination, she punctuated her look with a pair of $675 Christian Louboutin “Completa” pumps and a Fendi purse. And yes, the big Texas hair is in effect. Hot!
That’s it for this week! Who were your faves?
