Yesterday, Instagram (read Facebook, since they do own the company) released a new app that all of your favorite fashion editors will be using for fashion month. Named Hyperlapse, the app allows you to film something — for the sake of argument say an entire fashion show — and then play it back at up to 12 times its original speed. The app features Instagrams tried and true click to shoot ease, and videos can be exported to Facebook and Instagram. Sorry Android users, for now it’s iPhone only! (Instagram)

Reports have surfaced that luxury behemoth LVMH has its eye on a stake in Proenza Schouler. Rumored to have considered the design duo for the Dior job, if new reports are true the company could take hold of the company as it has with labels like J. W. Anderson and Nicholas Kirkwood. Many think that Delphine Arnault, daughter of LVMH owner Bernard Arnault, is behind the maneuver. (Style)
Elsewhere at LVMH, Nicolas Ghesquiere is entering mediation talks with his former employer Balenciaga. With the ruling having been scheduled for a reveal today, the two parties have decided to try to work out a deal on the charges brought against Ghesquiere. Balenciaga is seeking about $9.4 million in damages after Ghesquiere made statements about the company in a magazine interview that they say violated their separation agreement. (WWD)
