This week has been pretty low key, undoubtedly as stars are prepping for the onslaught of Awards Shows in the upcoming weeks!
Still, they brought a slew a fab fits for casual excursions, press junkets, and nights on the town.
Let’s take a look back, shall we?
1. J. Lo in Vince and Giuseppe Zanotti
J. Lo embodied casual chic while on a dinner date with friend J.R. Taylor a few nights ago in LA. Sticking to a neutral black and white color palette, the American Idol judge added just the right amount of pizzazz with Giuzeppe Zanotti Crystal chain detail sandals. La Lopez is one of the few celebs who can strike a balance between relatable and aspirational with minimal effort. Slay on, Slay Lo!
2. Rita Ora in Emilio Pucci
Rita Ora’s sartorial track record has been littered with numerous WTF? moments, but her Emilio Pucci Resort short set offered a welcome reprieve. She ripped almost straight from the runway, as she tends to do, but uplifted the ensemble with leg elongating Casadei blade pumps. 89% of you voted, “Hot I Love It!!” in our Hot or Hmm poll…we couldn’t agree more!
3. Kerry Washington in Parker
Kerry Washington flaunted her post baby, snatched back body at a gifting suite in LA, rocking a crisp white dress by Parker and architectural sandals from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2011 collection. Her shoes provided an unexpected twist, and the dress was summertime perfection. Chic!
4. Naya Rivera in Rebecca Minkoff
All white was also the call for newlywed Naya Rivera, whose Rebecca Minkoff dress stood out from the litany of looks in our Week in Chic rundown. Sure, a clutch would’ve been better than the large Hermès bag she can’t get enough of, but all was forgiven with her prim Stuart Weitzman petal pumps. Keep it cute, Mrs. Dorsey!
5. Kim Kardashian in Margiela and Balmain
Two things Kim Kardashian likes: Skin tight silhouettes and Balmain. We can see why–they look good on her! The mom, wife, and reality starlet paired her favorite Margiela bodysuit with a Balmain Fall 2014 skirt for a day of filming, and looked steaming hot. Give me body!
6. Jessica Alba in Antonio Berardi
Jessica Alba personified the phrase Pretty In Pink in an Antonio Berardi dress she wore for a day of press stops. Sure the shoes were a bit clunky, but her gorgeous makeup and pulled tight pony enlivened the look. Everything from the color to the silhouette were painfully on point. Yes!
And that does it!
Which look was your favorite this week?
