Gwen Stefani heads out of an acupuncture session in Los Angeles

  • Gwen Stefani has been notably absent from New York Fashion Week, but come September, that’s going to change.  “I am going to do something this September,” the singer said in a recent interview.  “The only reason I haven’t lately is because it falls when my kids go back to school and I was like, ‘Oh, I guess I will go to NYFW and miss my kid’s first day of kindergarten.’ No. This year it falls on a different week so I can be in both places.”  Can’t wait to see what she sends down the runway! • Snoop Dogg/Lion has collaborated with Swedish sock brand Happy Socks on a collection due out November 1st.  About the collection, titled The Art of Inspiration, Snoop said, “The collaboration with Happy Socks is so natural, because they saw what I was doing and provided me with another platform to further display my artistic abilities.” Are you looking forward to seeing the styles? • Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn attempted to channel a bit of pop culture in the latest Project Runway ad. In what can only be described as a parody, the pair ask “Turn Down For What?” to Lil John’s track, interspersed with quips of “You better work” a la RuPaul. Turn down for your age sis, turn down for that. (Gawker)

  • Kimora Lee Simmons is about to have some new digs at The Marquand.  Her new husband, investment banker Tim Leissner, just dropped $19 million on a five bedroom, five and a half bathroom apartment that comes with its own private elevator landing and wood burning fireplaces. Cue up the apartment envy.  (6sqft)

  • When J. Crew introduced size 000 or XXXS clothing, they were accused of vanity sizing, but according to the brand, such is not the case.  “We are simply addressing the demand coming from Asia for smaller sizes than what we had carried. Our sizes typically run big and the Asia market tends to run small,” a spokesperson said via a statement. “To further put into perspective, these sizes add up to the smallest possible percentage of our overall sizing assortment.” The new size accommodates a 23-inch waist.
