  • On the heels of their CFDA win, the Olsen twins have turned their attention to sports.  With the World Cup kicking off today in Brazil, the design pair has released a capsule collection of tees for their TEXTILE Elizabeth and James line featuring the names of sparring countries splayed across everything from cropped shirts to tank tops and classic tees.  Looks like a pretty stylish way to get in on the fray, no? • Russell Westbrook, he of the “never wear an outfit twice” mantra, is known as an eccentric dresser.  It’s for that reason recent news of the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard’s expansion into fashion, comes as no surprise.  Due out this July, Westbrook has partnered with Barneys New York on a collection that spans sportswear, denim, leather goods, eyewear, footwear and custom luggage.  This first collection, which is only the start of an ongoing partnership between the athlete and the retailer, features partnerships with Nike Jordon, Marcelo Burlon, Naked & Famous, Want Les Essentiels, Selima Optique, Del Toro and Globe Trotter. Spanx Hi Poer Brief

  • In case your regular Spanx aren’t doing enough, or you’d rather just have your jeans pull double duty, Spanx has announced that their next area of expansion is into denim.  Set to launch in July, the expansion will span two styles: The Signature and Slim X.  While the Signature will sport a wide waistband and side zipper, the Slim X actually has a stomach control panel, and both will retail for $148. I guess these are the last days of “do these jeans make me look fat.” (Elle)
