•After much criticism, it seems Zendaya has decided to pull out of the Lifetime biopic about Aaliyah. The 17-year-old singer was supposed to record four songs and lead the film, which was set to film this summer under the working title Aaliyah: Princess of R&B. Aaliyah’s family voiced opposition to the film saying that they had not been consulted about the production; the film is currently on hold. (Twitter)
•Kid Cudi saw his first Paris Fashion Week shows this week at Dior. While at first he didn’t want to take any questions while sitting front row, he ended up offering a few words. “I’m a fan and I think people know that about me,” he said of Dior. “They’re creative with clothing and like to push the envelope. •J. Crew, Rebecca Minkoff, BCBG and Herve Leger are teaming up with First Lady Michelle Obama on her Drink Up campaign. The move sees the designers offering up products like t-shirts, beach towels, and water bottles to encourage everyone to drink more water. “I am thrilled that leaders from across the fashion industry are coming together to help spread Drink Up’s important message to drink more water, more often,” said the First Lady.
