So you guys really took the challenge of finding me an outfit for 106 head on!
I’m going to level with you: it actually might be too late to order everything in time, but I’ll do my best!
That said, I’ll be doing more and more TV, and will try to wear one of these outfits at some point…provided the items are in stock, reasonably priced, and in my size.
There are a few rules for TV that I didn’t mention: all white is generally not a good look. Excessive patterns are generally a no no. Bright, solid colors are best.
So based on that criteria, behold my top 4 picks:
1. Polyvore user GeechdaGuru put these two ensembles together:
They wrote, “So I couldn’t decide if I wanted you to embrace your whimsical yet sophisticated side… Or channel a Parisian Editrice w/ a New York BITE! @thefashionbomb @XOXOClaire_com.”
2. Lisa E typed, ” I chose an outfit that will show off your figure but at the same time make you look chic.”
“I think for summer we shouldn’t be afraid of colour so I went with an outfit that doesn’t shy away from colour. In my mind, when I envisioned the shirt, I didn’t see it buttoned all the way up. I figured you could have two or three buttons open. I hope you like it.
3. TallTalesofStyle included some seriously affordable picks, and wrote, “I created 3 looks for writer, editor and blogger of Fashion Bomb Daily, Claire Sulmers. The first look is very classy, I noticed that Claire loves statement pieces and so I chose this beautiful top with statement shoes to accent the whole outfit. Claire’s complexion is so beautiful with pastels, especially pink so it was only right to add pastel sateen pants.”
” The second look shows the edgy side of Claire. I’m in love with this blazer and we know how much she LOVES her blazers. It’s very edgy and the faux leather lapels gives it a rocker look, These shoes are to die for, I love Tamara Mellon and these leather sandal booties mixes sexy and edgy. And what’s edgy without a torn boyfriend jean? I give this look 2 thumbs up!! The third look is very flirty, Claire loves to show off her awesome legs so I think a mini jumper skirt is quite appropriate. Sophia Webster’s butterfly shoes are adorable and it’s such a statement shoe. The earrings really bring out the girly butterfly accent on the shoes. Not to mention this outfit is all pink everything, and I just love her in pink pastels. I hope you like it Claire!! xoxo.”
4. And lastly, Amber Shirrell came up with 3 looks I really like! Check ‘em out below:
I dunno what I would look like in some denim pum pums and my mom would surely kill me. But the jeans and skirt looks are right up my alley!
That does it for my selects. What’s your vote?
Again, if I can’t make this happen for Monday, I’ll def try to make it happen for another time.
The default ensemble: A Candy Bomb Apparel tee!
Thanks so much for these–they’re great.
