I think the color is great on La, but the boob area of the dress seems off, like maybe its too small.

  2. Ms. Rosie says:

LaLa looks beautiful! I would wear the necklace with my natural hair in an updo, bright eyes, and a red lip. The necklace can be worn dressed up or down and I like how it’s a statement piece. The ideal outfit for me would be a white sleeveless top with a skater skirt (either tribal print or black leather) with some Pumps.

  3. Elizabeth says:

So excited to see LaLa wearing Soko jewelry! The Brass and Leather Applique Necklace is one of my favorites, and it looks absolutely fierce on her! #sokolove

  4. Ria says:

Ohh…that antique finish…yes! This is such an attractive necklace! Great anniversary gift (5 years married Whoot Whoot) or a great necklace to spruce up that date night outfit.

The fun pattern screams “I’m NOT a boring wife/mom/aunt/sister who is tired all the time.” The pattern is ohh so fun. The finish and color is impeccable.

I would wear it with neon yellow and strips. Or better yet, with my birthday suit. Wash away all the dirty hand prints from the toddlers, clean up real nice and wait in the foyer…au naturale with just my leather and brass. Perfecto!

  5. Phylecia says:

I would wear this with an a tailored button down white blouse, a leather tennis skirt and a shoe with a pop color

  6. Aisha Samara says:

I love the necklace. I’ll be in New Orleans with my girls next month for the Beyoncé concert. I’ve been looking for the perfect statement piece for my outfit (that’s inspired by a combination of outfits from your what to wear section ;) )and this is perfect. I have a black and white printed Ankara short with a black tank from Urban’s men section with some super cute wedge gladiator heels and a Brooklyn fitted. The necklace will be the perfect addition! Can I have please please please!

  7. Ruth says:

I love statement necklaces! I love how this just lays so beautifully on the collarbones. This would really add the icing to a cake on an outfit. I’d wear it with a strapless solid color midi dress or a form flattering dress with a plunging neckline with some fierce pumps! For a casual day look I’d wear a crop white tee with this necklace some destroyed boyfriend jeans and As black or (red) pointed toe pump ;)

  8. Stesh says:

I have an eye for a sexy statement necklace, and I absolutely love this. Lala paired her outfit very well with the necklace, and I would wear it very similar. I also like it because it’s versatile. You can dress it up with a cute dress whether it’s body conscious or loose, or you can wear it causally with jeans and a fitted tee during the day. I own something similar from BCBGMAXAZRIA, but I like how the plaques are separated. Adding this chic piece to my collection awesome.

I would pair the necklace with a simple white tee shirt and floral skater skirt with black sandals. prscllbh@yahoo.com

  10. KIKI says:

I gotta have that necklace! :) I think this necklace is very versatile but I think my go to look would be my hair untwisted from a twist out, an asymmetrical shirt, ripped denim blue shorts that come to the thighs, midi rings and a pair of black pumps.

  11. Petra says:

I would wear this with a simple white t and ripped boy friend jeans with gucci caged booties! Petra4sure@outlook.com

  12. Kris says:

I love this dress because the nude color would look great on my dark skin. It’s sexy but not too overwhelming.

I think I would add a pop of color with bright shoes and bright lipstick.

  13. Dani says:

Sorry for repeated post ! I can’t see if it posted or not

  14. I’d wear this bangin necklace with a conscience with my comfy fit leather shorts, my Basquiat crown tank top, and a pair of leather, brass, and lucite Miista heels that I’ve been craving this season. Hair, my typical go to, a messy asymmetrical bun on top of my dome. Makeup, nude lip, a smokey/dewy eye in shimmery black and bronze, and lashes for miles. Nails, matte black with shimmery bronze shapes to mimic the necklace. Boom.

  15. Briea Curington says:

I love the necklace because statement pieces are definitely in for the summer and bring attention to your face and upper body. I’m really into the skater skirt trend. I would probably pair the necklace with a black leather midi skater skirt, a lightweight blouse with a pop of color (neon orange or yellow), and some pointy-toe stilettos. And of course an up-do to not compete with the necklace with a vamped lip.

  16. Forgot to mention why I like it so much!

I dig this necklace cuz it’s EXACTLY my style. I wear mostly black, and love to mix in tribal designs (prolly due to my Native American heritage). Most importably though, I really appreciate that the company empowers women of color by using modern tech to increase their design’s profit margin, right on!

  17. I would wear this necklace with some hot leather pants, a nice pair of peep toe heels and a low cut shirt

  18. Wendy says:

I would wear it with strapless jumpsuit/romper and top it off with a chic short jacket. I would also add a clutch with a pop of color.

  19. rene says:

I love it! I would rock that necklace with floral and lacy to add that hard edgy look to feminine chic! :)

  20. lily million says:

I love the necklace, because it is a power statement. We all know LaLa to be more suttle and reserved, but with this necklace she is serving “I am HERE watch me WORK!” I think this neckalce is ideal for the woman who usually gets looked over or has yet to come from under her rock of shyness.
Hair: Big hair like an ethnic curl styled fro to give the boldness of the necklace a compliment by having bold hair.
Make up: I would do a more natural face with a suttle smokey eye throwing in a little eye shadow at the bottom of a different color to add more playfulness to everything. I would make sure to longate my lashes and do an ombre lip.
Nails: Nothing says bold like black! Matte polish with a black tip
Wardrobe: I personally would wear a nice boyfriend styled blazer with the sleeves rolled up. I would have a blazer that had some type of line print underneath that showed when I rolled my sleeves up. I would wear a cigarette styled pant (forgot to mention this would be red). I would do a simple point toe pump. With a Judith Leiber (The Wood Duck) clutch to match.

I left the power necklace comment lol sorry

I love the necklace! Its definitely a statement piece and I wouldn’t want to wear something that over shadowed it. I would actually pair the necklace with a simple white tee and distressed boyfriend jeans rolled up a bit. I would finish it off with a great pair of pumps or open toe sandals. An off-colored clutch would be an ideal finishing accessory.

I would wear this necklace with my FAVORITE neon green moo-moo and hot pink 6 inch slingbacks :-)

  28. Devon says:

This necklace is gorg!!! I would keep my outfit simple and let the necklace be the focal point. A crisp white buttoned down long sleeve shirt untucked. With a pair of dark demin jeans. And a nice pair of coral sandals!! I can see it now.

  29. Jessica Wilkerson says:

The necklace reminds me of Metropolis, and I love film.
I would rock it a loud color like heon green and a deep blue

  30. MARY says:

I WOULD WEAR IT WITH A SHEAR BLACK BLOUSE AND LEOPARD LEGGINGS WITH NICE BLACL BOOTS

  31. Samona says:

I would rock that statement necklace with a cute plain crop blazer and t-shirt with some boyfriend jean shorts and lace up the calf leather sandals. I would also rock it with a ethnic jumpsuit, my curly fro and just live!

  32. Dannigirl 78 says:

I would wear this piece by itself in my birthday suit….. My Anniversary is coming up this would spark up my night…Yezzzz!!

  33. Special zebra says:

Lala looks beautiful. Loving the hair too!
The first idea I had for this necklace was to wear it with an Indian sari to create a great fusion of cultures. Traditionally we wear heavy Indian jewelry (costume or real) but I think this would be a great change up! Would love to wear them together for you guys for one of the upcoming weddings I have this summer!

  34. Rachel C. says:

I would wear it with just about anything! This is a versatile piece that can be worn many ways. Boyfriend jeans, graphic tee and pointed toe pumps or a bold color midi length dress with chunky heels both are great looks for me!!
