Awards shows never stop! Across the pond in London, The Glamour Women of the Year Awards went down with some of our favorite and most stylish Brits in attendance.
Did the stars bring their A-game in the fashion department? You be the judge!
After her shimmering CFDA gown, Naomi Campbell went high-octane in an Alexander McQueen feather-detailed look from the brand’s Spring 2014 collection. This was not for the faint of heart and it truly took a fashion daredevil like Naomi to pull it off.
From floral motifs to patchwork, Alesha Dixon couldn’t be missed on the red carpet! Her red lips and loose waves finished the eye-catching ensemble perfectly. Hot!
The ladies of The Saturdays all had very distinct looks, but each one worked! I fancied Rochelle’s red figure-skimming dress the most.
The Little Mix ladies looked quite chic! Leigh-Anne sported a strapless printed gown; Jesy donned a menswear-inspired $2,913 Saint Laurent Tuxedo Jumpsuit, $9 American Apparel Stretch Floral Lace Tube Bra, and a $60 Zara Diamante Leather Clutch; Perrie coordinated with Jesy’s tux theme in a $231 Donna Mizani Frost Side Tie Tuxedo Gown and a $100 Zara Beaded Box Clutch; Last, but not least was Jade in a $916 Alexander McQueen Cotton Piqué Dress and $119 Zara Red Strappy High Heel Sandals.
It looked as if Jameela Jamil was ready to take a walk down the aisle in a white Vivienne Westwood gown. Her leopard print pumps weren’t my favorite choice…a pair of strappy metallic sandals would have done the trick.
We all love Samuel L. Jackson for his amazing acting career and flavorful Twitter commentary and he showed that he can also be bold on the red carpet in an aqua suit, accented with a white tie and colorful shirt. I won’t lie…I loved this.
I could never say “no” to Gucci sequins and clearly neither could Sarah Hyland, as she chose an iridescent dress in the flashy embellishment from the Italian fashion house.
At first glance, Cat Deeley’s Matthew Williamson dress looked casual, but it’s actually embellished with star motifs. Well done!
It was all about refinement for Hayley Atwell in a black Ermanno Scervino design with colorful floral embroidery. I’m usually a fan of Scervino’s pieces and I wasn’t disappointed one bit here.
Gemma Chan was gilded in a black and gold jacquard number. She’s cute no?
Paloma Faith brought the drama in a one-shoulder sheer Nicholas Oakwell gown with rosette embellishment. Her signature red lips and a tousled updo added to the romance of her look. I live for her style!
Myleene Klass wore a floral print, tie-neck number from one of her own collections. Hmm…I’m usually onboard with her sartorial choices, but this read retro in the wrong way.
Daisy Lowe digged in the archives, sporting a Dior Couture dress from 1954. This was retro glamour done right.
The iconic French fashion house was also on the menu for Alexa Chung who chose a sheer embroidered bodice number with a flare seamed skirt from Dior. Pretty!
Liberty Ross skewed sultry in a cool web-detailed dress.
It was all about glitz for Orange Is The New Black actress Taylor Schilling who shimmered and sparkled in a silver sequin Peter Pilotto dress with contrast strap detailing and Jimmy Choo Sunday Pumps.
My crush on designer Henry Holland continued…love him!
