Happy Friday everyone!
Before we gear up for Memorial Day Weekend, we have to recap the biggest style moments of the week. Our favorite stylish stars certainly put in work in Cannes and on television screens over the past seven days. Let’s see whose ensembles were the most impressive:
Aishwarya Rai in Roberto Cavalli
Aishwarya Rai burst onto the scene at the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in a Roberto Cavalli number that was practically made for the Two Days, One Night Premiere red carpet. The gold embellished dress was just what the glamorous event called for and if you thought Aishwarya was beautiful before, this definitely sent her over the edge into flawless territory!
Jennifer Lopez in KaufmanFranco
The American Idol judge hasn’t had one fashion misstep during the entire series and she ended it all with a bang on the finale show. She shimmered and sparkled in a Crystal Slashed Dress from KaufmanFranco’s Fall 2014 assortment, showing off her killer legs. J.Lo finished the look with a showstopping pair of Jimmy Choo Glitter Pumps, voluminous hair, and a beat visage.
Jourdan Dunn in Balmain
As one of the globe’s top models, we can always expect high-fashion from Jourdan. At the amfAR 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Cap d’Antibes, France, the gorgeous Brit went bold in a yellow woven and embellished dress from FBD fave, Balmain. We instantly fell in love with the eye-catching yellow hue of the dress and simple, yet perfect strappy sandals that allowed the frock to play centerstage. Pinup waves and red lips rounded out the ravishing ensemble. Ms. Dunn played no games that night!
Arlenis Sosa in Julien Macdonald
Models dominated this week! Arlenis Sosa slayed on the red carpet at the Two Days, One Night Premiere during Cannes. She skewed sultry in a one-shoulder sequin Julien Macdonald gown with cutout detailing and a thigh-high slit. Her mile-long legs had us all in a daze, while her glowing skin completed the already sexy ensemble perfectly. Hot!
Liu Wen in Vionnet
We loved Liu Wen’s ethereal Vionnet Cutout Plissé Gown and all of its romance. She gave the dress ample time to shine with minimal hair and makeup, though her ruby red embellished clutch gave the look a dose of fiery color. Liu looked absolutely amazing and her choice for the night couldn’t have been more fitting.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Victoria Beckham
Victoria Beckham is usually her own best brand ambassador, but she might willingly hand over the honor to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley after this week. The model slipped on the brand’s Spring 2014 powder blue flare dress, which was cinched at the waist by a white belt. Nude pumps anchored the frock. No frills or fussiness — just clean, expert tailoring on one of the best figures in the business.
So who had your favorite look of the week?
