The Fashion Bomb News Breakdown: Terry Richardson Accused of Trading Vogue Feature for Sex, Peaches Geldof’s Funeral, and Emma Stone Covers This Month’s Vogue

• Another young woman is coming forward to accuse Terry Richardson of creepy behavior. Model Emma Appleton tweeted a screenshot of a text message allegedly sent by Richardson, in which he bribes her with a feature in Vogue magazine…in exchange for sex. The message reads, “If i can f***k you i will book you in ny for a.shoot for Vogue” Appleton says the raunchy text came from Richardson’s Facebook page, but a spokeswoman for the photographer says it’s simply untrue. “This is obviously a fake. Terry did not send this text,” she said. Appleton has since taken the text down, and tells BuzzFeed that it is really from Richardson. She removed the image (which she says she regrets posting) to avoid negative attention. “Beginning to wish I hadn’t posted that…it doesn’t matter who you are or the what the industry is, just be a decent human being,” she tweeted. Vogue writer  Jonathan Van Meter, who penned this month’s “Selfie-Made” Kate Upton article, had some choice words about his story getting nixed from the magazine’s April cover (which was originally supposed to feature Ms. Upton) to make way for the #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple.  “After getting bumped from the cover of April Vogue for Kimye and finding out only once it hit newsstands, I think I have earned the right to post this little bit of frothy praise,”  Van Meter joked via Facebook. “While the article that goes with the [Kardashian-West] cover story is entertaining, the jewel of this [issue] is undoubtedly ‘Follow Me’ by Jonathan Van Meter, photographed by Mario Testino,” he said. I guess I can see why he would feel that way…! (Page Six)

Peaches Geldof

• Family and celebrity friends remembered Peaches Geldof today at a ceremony held at Mary Magdalene and St. Lawrence church in Davington, Kent–the same place both Peaches and her mother were married and ultimately, sent off. Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Fergie, Duchess of York, and a few others turned out to pay their respects, while father Bob Geldof gave a moving eulogy to his late daughter. The late Geldof’s coffin was decorated with paintings of flowers, clouds, and peaches, as well as a portrait of Geldof, her husband Tom Cohen, their two sons Astala and Phaedra, and their family pets. Peaches’s ashes will be spread on the estate gardens, where she used to play as a child. (THR)
