TheOutnet.com turns five today, and to celebrate the milestone, the e-tailer’s released a 17-piece collection of exclusive “birthday” items, or “re-issued iconic styles.” 17 designers and brands were tapped to participate, including Alexander McQueen, Jason Wu, Nicholas Kirkwood, Oscar de la Renta, and more. For the campaign, TheOutnet looked to the talents of Chanel Iman, who stars in the print ads as well as a short video made especially for the occasion. You can shop the collection here. rodolfo-paglialunga  • Since Jil Sander stepped down for a third time in October as creative director, the label’s been keenly searching for a replacement. Today, Sander (the brand) announces that they’ve named Rodolfo Paglialunga, former Prada womens wear design director and Vionnet creative director as their new creative head. Paglialunga’s first collection for the label will hit the runway this September. “I’m deeply honored to have the opportunity to take on this role. I have boundless admiration for the brand as I strongly believe in its pure vision and values,” said Paglialunga. “My aim is to carry forward the fusion between sophistication, luxury and innovation and bring the house [to] the next level.”  (WWD)

• Ticket for Jay Z and Beyoncé‘s “On The Run” tour go on pre-sale today. So far, there are 16 dates posted, not one of which is in New York City. So, NYC residents might have to wait a little while to get their hands on tickets. Until then, I will be perched here with utmost patience. Anyone pick up presale tickets today? (Ticketmaster)

 

6  Rita Ora's Coachella Robert Cavalli Fall 2014 Black Sheer Knit Maxi

• Despite her misstep with Superga, Rita Ora continues to scoop up designer endorsements. Her latest is rumored to be with Roberto Cavalli,  according to Page Six. There are no further details, but we’ll be on the lookout! Hopefully, Rita won’t mess this one up!

 

 

Karlie-Kloss-Warby-Parker-Sunglasses

Karlie Kloss is teaming up with Warby Parker for a limited edition collection of sunglasses, a three-piece range launching June 10th. The sunnies boast a ’70s vibe, and will retail at $145. Proceeds from the collection will benefit Edible Schoolyard NYC, a non-profit that promotes healthier food choices for underprivileged children at NYC Public Schools. (Fashionista)
