The Fashion Bomb News Breakdown: Gisele Bündchen’s ‘Heart of Glass’ Music Video for H&M, Vogue.com is Expanding, and Olivia Wilde Covers Lucky
By The Fashion Bomb Staff

• It’s no “Walking on the Sun,” but Gisele Bündchen‘s certainly doing her thang on this rendition of Blondie‘s “Heart of Glass” for H&M‘s summer campaign. The Swedish retailer unleashed the video for the single, and as expected, Bündchen looks very svelte, very leggy, and very much the beachy bombshell. Vocals aside, the supermodel looks magnificent wining up against a mic stand in a leopard print bikini and swaying her hips in a black cutout one-piece on the beach. The song is available on iTunes for purchase, and a percentage of the sales will benefit UNICEF. Check it out above. (Vogue UK)

Victoria Beckham sat down with Mashable to answer questions about e-commerce, social media, and of course, her eponymous brand. Check out her tips above on how to build a career in fashion. (Mashable)

Vogue.com is getting a makeover! The title is looking to expand its website, and is building up its staff with new hires and current employees who will move from print to web. Shakeups have already taken place—Chioma Nnadi took a position as the site’s fashion features editor, Edward Barsamian left T: The New York Times Style Magazine to be a contributing style editor for both print and now web, Catherine Piercy came on as beauty editor earlier this year, and Emily Holt, the mag’s news editor has been doing plenty of work for Vogue.com. New hires include Alessandra Codinha, who will write for the site. But that’s not all: there are rumors that Anna Wintour hired two more people in the past six weeks to work on Vogue.com, and is looking to build a team of 20. Vogue did not comment, but it will be interesting to see how the site changes over the next year or so… (WWD)

• Let’s just come out and say it: most magazine covers are questionable at best. But even with the magazine industry’s storied tradition of Photoshop fails, there are those who get it right. The American Society of Magazine Editors have announced the finalists for its “Best Cover” contest, all of which have already won other prizes in other categories this year from the organization. In the running? W magazine’s spotty George Clooney cover (Fashion and Beauty), Vanity Fair’s Marilyn Monroe-inspired Kate Upton effort (Sexiest), Oprah Winfrey‘s ginormous ‘fro cover for magazine (Women’s Service Category), and seven other gems. Check them all out at Fashionista. (Fashionista)
